You may want to look at southern NH - there are more CG in NH than that area of MA.
there are a few:

Just out of curiosity Jim, how far were you trying to go with POE. with Cat5e you should not have an issue powering at the max distance for any device provided your POE source is providing the correct amperage. I go a full 300ft plus a few on very power hungry POE phones all the time. it...
Yes, not a potable water leak, i did have one of this this last trip but it was caused by me - replaced the bathroom sink faucet and I could not get the stock connector to seat correctly so it was leaking enought to see the leak. this is most likely roof leak. I did find some suspect areas...
I have not found the source of my water leak. I am at a loss at the moment how to best determine where the leak is. There is nothing obvious on the roof that would cause the leak.
Any sage guidance is very welcome.
I made it home last night at 6pm with out any of the traffic or "business issues" that delayed my trip down to PA. I had a great time at the camp out and meeting new people and reconnecting with everyone else. What would a camping trip be without some kind of repair needing to be made. I...
Good Day all,
I was in PA at a Heartland owners club campout this weekend and noticed a soft spot right in front of the forward entry door. I realize that this is most likely water damage ( and I still need to find the source ) but I got thinking that the floor is a wood and foam structure...
We Bend with the breeze! I am sure there will not be a shortage of tables! But I have my two 6 footers loaded so if we need them just holler! I'll be leaving about 11am and google says it's a 6.5 hour drive so that would put me in Camp at 8pm right... ( Google is never right! )
See you...
Welcome to the heartland Family.
as others have mentioned, a call to the Heartland Customer service with your rigs VIN will give you the information you are looking for. And Jim mentioned the Owners group, one of the benefits of membership is a discount on parts and accessories from...
Put Me down for some BOSTON Baked Beans - made with Molasses, Onions, and REAL Maple Syrup from the trees in my Back Yard!!!!
Ok, maybe not the trees in my back yard, since those are all pine trees and the sap doesn't taset as good... but it will be from a Local Sugar House! ;)
Looking for some input from the group: Where would you like to see the 2017 Mass Rally be held? I would like to start working on this now so we can actually plan to hold a Rally during rally season in 2017. Absent from this list is Cape Cod ( on cape ) since there are no RV venues that...
All,
I have been looking at installing an AGS in my 2010 Cyclone and wanted some feedback from the community on their experiences with these.
Since my Gen is an Onan the first one on the list is the Onan EC-30 or the EC-30W. Both seem tried and true - with the only complaint I've seen...
All,
Looking for for some ideas on what I can do to repair this. I just noticed it today on the main entry door ( interior skin ) on either side of the window.
Does anyone have a diagram on how the door is put together so I can determine if it makes sense to take it apart to replace the...
Yes - the will work together if the temp goes down to trigger both ( I do not recall what each is set to ).
One thing to remember - Always turn off the 120V switch when there is even a possibility that you will run "dry". If there is no water in the heater and the 120V is on you run a very...
Jeff,
I assume you are talking about running the Water Heater on both AC (120v) and Propane ( 12v ). The advantage is a faster recovery if you have several people taking showers back to back or someone is washing dishes and another is trying to take a shower... if you run both it will...
Can not wait for April 15th ( who ever says that ) It may not be the first Camping trip of the year since I may be headed to Florida next week via DC ... But it will be the first HOC Event of the 2016 season for me.
But even More Important than Camping is https://days.to/02-april/2016 The...
I have a small PC and an internal Wireless network ( WiFi Ranger ) I have Cyclone wired for network. I have a Sonos system in the RV to stream music from the internet ( or from my PC ) over the wireless network. I have not yet pulled the HDMI cable to connect the PC to the TV to show...
Hello Mass and New England Campers,
The Time has come to start planning for Fall Camping. We have not had any one commit to this Rally other than Glenn & Sharon and myself. If you are planning on getting out to enjoy the Cape this year, Fall is the arguably the best time to do it...
Yes that is what the rules say - but what I say is as long as there are group members around they are not left alone ... and this is more so the neighbors are not bothered - and none of us will complain.. :-)
Kevin
PS: I will ask John for clarity on that rule ... I'm sure it is mostly for...

Welcome to the Heartland Family - I second the call to join the Club - you will have the opportunity to meet some really great folks as you travel around the country and a great resource. you will also receive a discount from Heartland on parts and accessories for your rig when the time comes...
Check for lamination issues in the ramp door, check for calk around the aluminum of the ramp door - they have gotten better at sealing those over the years so it should not be an issue but worth checking. if it was in a primary warm dry area then it is less likely that there would be water...
Duane, I'll be here until Tuesday - I really do hope you two can make it up late or other wise. Keep me in the loop sir!
Steve, We'll see you tomorow - Work keeps getting in the way! :)
Well we are all set up and rigs are starting to roll in. Glenn, Sharron and I have been working out the details of our plans. Always working I say. This morning we got together to taste test a selection of baked goods to select the local bakery that was going to supply our faire for Sat...

Our First Mass Chapter Rally is Just One Week away! This is to communicate some details of the proposed schedule, No super big news, but just some minor changes to schedule and more details on what is going on:

T Minus One Week!!!
We are a week away - and things are falling into place! Excited to meet my Fellow MA Heartland Owners ( the ones I have not met yet ) and seeing others that I have not see all year long.
Email is going out tomorrow with details on schedule and the heartland gives...
Re: And so it begins - mods to personalize the rig
Duane,
as they say Great minds think Alike! I too just installed the Wifi Ranger, but I opted for the version that mounts to the Bat-wing ( since I still have one ) and I ran the network cable down the same hole as the coax for the TV...
DM2776,
Things do happen, and some can be prevented and others can not. since your unit was previously owned it is tough to say if it was properly cared for (maintained) but one thing that jumped out to me as an owner of a 2010 Cyclone ( new to me in 2011 ) was the issue with the sliding...
Note that door is of similar design to the Lippert doors that were installed in the Cyclone pre 2010. Wooden frame wood, structure, and rigid foam with plywood on either side.
I was getting fairly poor run times then I changed the spark plug for the first time ( it's a 2010 ) and last year I was getting around .45-.5 gal / hour but I only have one AC unit too
Kevin
Well - Summer is in Full Swing, and I have been way too busy with work. But lucky for me Glenn and Sharon have been busy lining up contact and acquiring some really cool swag for our Very First Massachusetts Heartland Chapter Rally.
Below is a very detailed list of activities that are in the...
Another alternative to changing the plumbing at the pump would be to install an inline check valve in the pex section that connects to the city water. I am assuming that your connection goes either all PEX from the pump or like mine it goes flex to pex to the T connection ( where City water...
I believe you are referring to the household type switch - on the entertainment center ( also where all of the other controls are ). that is the Electric Water heater on the Cyclone.
