Bighorn Window Seal Question (not leaking)

I was just wondering why there is no caulk/seal around the sides and bottom of the windows? There is a bead on the tops and down the side a couple inches on each window. I don't have a leak, but want to know if the window is sealed against the fiberglass. If not, would blowing rain or driving in hard rain allow a potential water intrusion?

Re: ATF: Bighorn - Window Seal - Not Leaking

I am told the windows have an inner seal to keep them from leaking. The sides and bottom especially are not caulked to allow water to drain away. I did add caulking to the sides of my windows but not at the bottom. Just seems like the thing to do since several of the outer window frames are not flush against the wall.

The windows have a rubber seal that goes all away around the inside window frame. If you feel the need to seal the windows more.....just dont seal the bottom where the drain holes are. Had the Horn for 4 years now and only had one leaking window. A little chalking fixed that.

I guess this may be one of those "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" thingies...
