Ditto to all of what Rich said.Make sure it's a LDSDim25 with three wires, white to light, red to positive and black to ground. First make sure your stock switch is switching the positive lead not the negative, one of mine was wired on the negative side from the factory and was giving us fits till we took the time to test the stock wires for neg/pos, worked great after correcting.

When you pulled out the factory switch did you keep pulling to find the ground wire ?

Ok that's done now on to some Mod's I had on the bench waiting for the rig to get back home.
We have the Wine fridge in our entry closet and it tends to get rather warm inside the there because of the fridge running all the time.
So I found this cool exhaust fan system on Amazon. The have a lot of different combos and you can link multiple fans together if needed. So I started with 1 and the control panel. You can set the temp you want it to stay below. Time will tell how well it works.
I put it in the back wall behind the fridge blowing the warm air into the basement area.

Glad you figured it out Nick. Sorry I wasn't help you much with that issue. So I returned the switch and ordered a new one. Installed the new one an it works flawlessly, it was just a bad switch. All of your mods have given me a lot of good ideas now it is just finding the money to do them.
Thanks for the help.

This is a simple docking station seal I made out of some scrap foam I had. I cut it out at two different diameters so it will fit down in the hole and not fall through.
This is to keep dirt, bugs and rodents out.

If it was coated in a more durable covering, it would be in my cart!Erika I don't think an ant could find it's way past this thing. Super simple and I bet they could be mass produced for about 50¢ and sold for $10
I'm not sure where I acquired the foam stuff I used. I always save that stuff from packaging. Probably came out of a TV box or something like that.
