'08 Bighorn 3600RL Second A/C Pre-Wire

Does this trailer come pre-wired for a second A/C in the bedroom? From other threads, it appears that you have to remove the existing vent an look for wires to tell for sure. Is this the case?

Hi Bill,

Yes, your3600RL should be pre-wired for a second A/C. You will need to remove the inside of the vent in the bedroom to find the wires. Should not be a big deal,,, 4 screws.

In 2008, the wiring for the 2nd AC was an option.
Two things to look at.
One is to look in the breaker panel and see if there is a breaker for the front AC.
Two, take the four screws out on the inside of the vent above the bed. If it is wired you will see a piece of yellow Romax cable. It will be terminated in a plastic box.
Or, call the factory with VIN in hand and they can tell you if it is pre wired.

Our 08 Big Country came prewired for a 2nd AC which we had the dealer add. Best thing we ever did and I would highly encourage anyone to add a second unit.

When we bought our 08', I'm pretty sure the pre-wiring was standard, it was the second A/C itself that was an option....

All Bighorns are prewired for a 2nd AC.
