2009 31QBS line changes?

I've just purchased a 2009 31QBS off the dealer lot and I'm really curious as to what the manufacturing dates and/or serial number ranges of the line changes are.

From what I understand, Some 2009s have an LP only hot water heater and some have a dual electric/LP HWH. Some have 14 inch wheels, some have 15 inch wheels. Some have diamond plate, some don't. Are there other significant line changes?

I purchased the unit off the dealers lot and it did not have the diamond plate front. Not fully sure about the other stuff.

I haven't picked up my unit yet and there are some features that I really want on my unit, such as the elec/lp HWH. Are ther retrofit kits available for any of these features?

Welcome to the Heartland Family!! I have only had mine a few months but I think I can help you out.

Heartland makes it changes throughout the model year. When there is a new modification they make it as soon as possible so you don't have to wait until the next model year. I am unsure about changes to the 31QBS but my 28BHS was built in July and six weeks later they have added the diamond plate and electric/lp heater modifications. My bad luck but I am hoping for a retrofit as well.
