2010 3950 - Water leaking into drivers side compartment toolbox?

Some of us have had this problem. I caulked the snot out of the UDC and then made an aluminum diverter in the skirting. You have to caulk that too. It keeps water running down the skirt to the bottom of the tool compartment.

My problem with this I traced to me being the cause while hooking or disonnecting the water line in the UDC. My fix was about a 3 foot long piece of water hose that remains connected in the UDC at all times. When I need to hook up external water I remove the two round caps and drop the hose down through. After that I hook up the main hose to it. When disconnecting all the water drains out the short piece and I just pull it back up through the holes, bend it into a U shape, and it resides inside the UDC. Cheap, easy, and has been pretty much fool-proof so far.

I now have water from somewhere else leaking into the toolbox. Hopefully it was the leak I found while replacing my pooped out water pump this past weekend.
