Angie, I'm here and I responded on FB too! I don't know the answer and mine is sitting at the storage lot too... working on finding the answer... the early indications is that ours has a 2 1/4" but I'm trying to verify.

Hi Angie,

We have a 2009 NT 21FBS. We replaced the original hand crank tongue jack with an electric one. We kept the hand crank tongue jack and we measured it at 2" where the Fastway Jack Foot would mount. Hope this helps you.

There's your answer. Based on that, you need this one: http://www.campingworld.com/shopping/item/fastway-flip-6-automatic-jack-foot-for-2-jack/57757

Be careful though... ours does NOT have the flat foot that they show in their video and I worry that it won't be very "automatic".

THANKS, JAMES AND JNV!!!!! I wonder if it would help to call them first? I LOVE this!!!

Also, what do you think of this? Trying to cut expenses and not buy the BAL xtended chock lock thing. :)
I love this, and it can be locked by putting a padlock through the hole when locked down. What do you think?

Hope to see you at a race soon! IF I CAN TAKE SEEING THAT 88 BANNER! I plan to pull out all of the Roush banners I can find for your viewing pleasure if we can ever camp at the same place. Let's talk soon. Meanwhile, thanks for the info. and let me know what you think of this.

Hey, I know there is no chance anyone will be up... and certainly not one who has a North Trail like mine... JAMES, WHERE ARE YOU??? :) But, I need to know the size of the Jack on our camper! I'm trying to place an order. I have to choose either a 2" or a 2 1/4" size.

Fastway Flip 6" Automatic Jack Foot for 2 1/4" Jack

Thanks to anyone who knows!

Angie

Be aware, We bought a Fastway Flip for our 22FBS. We were on a slight incline. Before I could get my chocks under the tires the Flip gave way. My DW was just about to get inside when it slip and gave way. It was not a fun experience. It took a lot of work getting the trailer back up and safe. We took the Fastway Flip back to camping world. I can't have something that is unsafe and could cause my wife, me or any one else harm. I went with just a 6 inch solid stand. I wont recommend the Fastway Flip. We have to many hills where we camp to use it safely.

Not too sure on that chock. I have the BAL and love them! I have no experience with the ones you are looking at. The BALs are only another $18 or so.

btw... I don't get crazy with the Jr banners... I only fly a single Jr flag... nothing more is needed. People know who I like. :)

I couldn't get the Chocks to work for me the wheels were to far apart. Let me know if they work on your NT.

Wow. Thanks to both of you. Where did you find the BAL chock so cheap? This one was under $48 shpd!

Also, which solid stand did you buy?

We needed about 4 to 6 more inches on the tongue jack. We went out and got a “BAL 29055B Tall Foot for 2000 lbs Tongue Jack” for 20 bucks including shipping. I ordered it off of Amazon.com. It’s easy on and off and very secure. I would recommend one over the Fastway Flip.

To a Carl Edwards or Roush Fenway Racing fan, ONE Jr. flag is too many. :)

Peter... couple of things. I'm glad you mentioned the chock not working for you. They sell an XL one and they specifically list our North Trail ... up to 30" width between tires. I'm going for it. SOOOOO easy compared to the BAL Xtended. and cheaper!

Also, on the Fastway Flip thing.. :D ... We always chock our tires first and then crank up the hitch to level. We are pretty new, and we have a GURU here named James ((Yaaayyyyy) who has answered about a gramillion questions. So, to you, would it keep it from doing that if we chock first? I want the thing to work!

Angie

P.S. we leave in the morning ... and will take those door photos for you.

Hi,

Chocking first is a must. I know that I won't go back to the Fastway Flip. With what happened to us and others that are on the internet, I wont take the risk.

I haven't seen the XL Chocks. I'll have to look for them and give them a try.

Can't wait to see the photos. Good luck and safe travels on your trip.
