Re: can anyone tell me what changes have been made to the 2014 Big Horns
Since we already had a BH and were looking at a BC, we did quite a bit of analysis.
General differences (that we know of) between BC and BH - that most probably can be added/changed as we did quite a bit of that when ordering our new BC: BH has: individual hydraulic valves, rubber mat in basement area, smart light above entry door, window-paned mirror'd doors in bedroom, prepped for Winegard Traveler - BC is prepped for satellite but not Winegard (not a big deal at all), standard bathroom sink with solid surface cover (BC has vessel), 12 gal WH (BC has new Atwood XL that provides 20 gals an hour), black range and microwave (BC is stainless), solid surface range cover (very recent change - BC has stainless), electric bedroom slide (our BC has hydraulic but that doesn't appear to be consistent with other BCs), "touch" wireless remote (BC has keyfob), 65 amp converter (BC has 80 amp converter), per specs BH has a subwoofer and BC does not; however, there have been threads that state the BH does not as well, day/night shades (BC has wooden blinds in living area), and 2 chairs and table is not versa (BC has 4 chairs and versa table (very nice - BH's table is very narrow)).
Decors are different except for Bronze - BC and BH share this decor. BH's living "ultra leather" furniture has top stitching - BC's does not. BH's sofa bed is a roll-over air mattress bed; whereas, BC's is a fold-over sofa bed. BH has a tile look vinyl; BC has a wood plank look. BH's cabinetry is chestnut colored; BC's is dark cherry.
BH has strutted baggage doors; BC has magnetic catches. BH has a front painted cap; BC's front and rear caps are painted.
Do not assume that if a standard is missing in the BC list, that it's not standard - we learned that - examples: BH states that the optional bedroom AC is fully ducted and BC does not state that in regard to the bedroom AC option but it is, the LM states that it has a waterproof LED light in the shower - BC does not indicate that as a standard but it is. We asked many questions regarding standards before ordering. Also, do not assume that if an option is available with a BH or LM that it would not be available for BC or BH. These are all built on the same line.
For 2014 LED lights were added in the RV and under the awning. I think the fully ducted/integrated dual AC's between the living and bedroom area (when bedroom AC is added) is new as well. Prior AC unit in bedroom was low-profile stand-alone and living AC was ducted into bedroom as well. Now the two AC's are full profile as well. (This is true for both the BC and BH.)
Hope this helps.

looking on the Heartland ( Big Horn) web site everything seems like its for 2013.... for instance i saw a brochure that said the slides headroom was 7'4'' but the web site says 6'5'' .... I'm trying to find the differences in a ( Big Horn 3585 vs Big Country 3450 ) and what updates have been made for 2014. i have been to 3 dealers, and no one can point out hardly any differences other than cabinets over the table and some light fixtures , hard to see what the difference in price is all about
