We are back home (Rouge River, Or.) after spending the winter in Arizona. Winter this year in Az. wasn't quite as warm as in the past years but compared to home it was great. Our neighbors in Az. were from Mn. and they were especially happy to be in Az.
However the weather here has been all but great since our return. Rain and cold temps everyday since our arrival and the same in the forecast for at least the next 10s days. We have decided that next year we will delay our departure from Az. for at least 2 weeks and take our time on the return trip arriving in So. Oregon very late April or early May. When I retired in 2005 we said we were not going to do winter any more, well that plan got messed up this year. But then the weather has been off the charts in most of the country.
