Had roller on closet side of bed room slide screws sheered off. Roller held in place with screws from the top, roller must have been attached before slide installed. Any thoughts on how to get roller reattached with out going to dealer and having slide removed? It's on a Sundance 2012 unit. May be able to attach with screws on the side rather than top, not sure how much weight is on roller and if it will hold.

Had the same exact problem. Only real solution is a dealer who can take slide out. Our unit was a 2011 Sundance. Not every dealer can make the repairs. Nearest dealer to me was a four hour pull. GOOD LUCK!
Was able to make repairs myself. Took up the bed frame and ran the slide just about to full extend, had to have play to lift slide. Picked up right angle drill adapter from Home Depot and close quarters ratchet screw driver set from Sears. Used scissor jack to lift slide. Used right angle drill and hex head self tapping screws to drill new holes for roller. Took some effort, but got roller replaced.

If you are talking about the rollers that are under the slide on the outside, I had one replaced by a dealer on my Big Country. They did it without lifting the slide. He had a bent screwdriver and was able to remove the screws by turning it about 1/4 of a turn before repositioning the driver. Slid the old roller out and the new one in and replaced the screws. He was able to use the same holes so if yours still have the broken screws in them, it may be harder, if not impossible to do.

sheared the heads right off, left the rest of the bolt in the wood. And if anyone is looking, especially ********** Heartland. Those are not the proper type screws for that application. Water under the bridge now.

Yes, this was the slide roller on the outside wall. The screws had been sheared off, no way to remove. We found that the slide roller had been installed on top of another screw, leaving it sitting at a bit of an angle. Not sure if that caused the failure or not, but it could have been avoided if the factory had just moved the roller less than a half inch to the left. Really no excuse for how it was installed. We were also amazed at the amount of construction stuff we found under the bed framing. Screws, sawdust, nails, and two heat registers under the slide mechanism. At least it was fixed for about $20!

That same thing happened to our unit (Landmark - Golden Gate). You do not have to remove the slide, run it out as far as you can wedge the slide up as far as you can and take out the bed and you may have to remove the facia on the inside of the slide it is held in place with square headed screws, (finding them is tough in the carpet) using a drill with a flexible shaft helps. If you call Heartland to get replacement rollers get 5 because 3 is not enough to carry the weight IMO. It is a difficult job but it can be accomplished take your time and be careful.
