Door Window

I would like to put foil on the window on the door, what would be the best way to go about that. Seems like no matter how your parked the sun always comes through that window and hits you in the face. Thanks for your input.

In my old trailer which had a doorway in the bedroom I used velcro with tape on one side. One went on window the other on the foil. Before going to bed I put the shade on to keep the sunlight out in the AM. It worked good and you only need small pieces of the taped velcro in the corners of the window.

DW just made a small curtain I put on the door with a flat rod and velcro to keep the bottom in place.

We bought this. I use in in the kids room (aka garage). Only downside is that we rarely open their door and you have to open the door to take it off. But it does come off and on with Velcro. :)

I made this from a store-bought curtain panel that has a thermal backing. It still lets some light in, but cuts the heat very well! The rods I bought at WalMart, and painted silver (they come as brass). I used 3M command strips to attach the clips to the door, and so far they have held after a month. Does not interfere with the screen door.

Moved on to the next thing...
I bought these Command Clips at the Walmart in Rifle, Colorado three weeks ago while we were attending the Fall 2014 Colorado Heartland Owner's Club Rally ($10 for a pack of 20 clips):

Just slide a towel in there . . . and no more sun in the face!

I'm also going to try these clips to hold the power cord for my Rand McNally GPS unit to my dashboard.

I just wish that these clips came in black as the white sticky tape will look awful on my black dashboard.

After we got home, Cathy found some different Command spring clips at the local Walmart that we will try and report back with the result of our scientific tests!

. We bought a stained glass window to replace the plain glass. It also cuts down the glare.
