I have a m21 Edge tt. My husband and I love this little trailer. Only complaint I have is, that I have to defrost the freezer every 4-5 days. Is this normal? If it is I will just have to deal with it. Please let me know what to check for. Thanks.

Hi Retainerlady,

Fast buildup of frost suggests moist air intrusion into the freezer compartment. Make sure the freezer door(s) is closing correctly. If there's something inside that sticks out a bit too far, you could have a slight air leak. Also check the seals around the door(s). If you trap a dollar bill with the door and pull it out, there should be a little drag.

Definitely doesn't sound like normal to me.

The other thing I'd add... being in Florida, you might just have lots of humidity getting in during normal door operation?
You might look into getting some dehumidifier crystals (like DampRid) to store in the freezer, and see if that helps?

We have a M22 2011 and thats about the same as ours. in my opinion this is normal.
