That's a great idea Bill. It gives me a good excuse to upgrade my FRS's. We'll have to decide what channel and sub-channel. We plan on going up from Sacramento on the 29th. See you there.

Excellent idea Bill! I think most everyone has a set, and if they don't most of us could loan one to them. I'm working on a trip to the wineries, but checking into the possibility of using the casino's shuttles rather than individual cars. Looks like we will have participation by RV's of Sacramento again, so looks to be a nice rally for us. Working on Camco and Dometic for some raffle prizes as well as the usual donors.
So far, Sonny from Mobile Outfitters is planning to be there and has given us a Correct Track system to auction off. Hendersons will be in Phoenix for the GS rally, So Sonny will cover the CP info as well.
WE HAVE 23 RIGS REGISTERED!!!!

Deb:
Its in the back of my poor memory that I had heard than Henderson's Line Up from Grant's Pass Oregon was going to participate. Have you been in contact with them?

On the walkie-talkie issue. I have 2 sets (1 rechargeable and 1 replaceable batteries) and no longer have a travelling companion. I would be glad to loan out up to 3 of these to people who need them.

Well, we have our reservations for oroville at Feather Falls. Looking forward to meeting you all!

Hi Doublenuts,

Welcome to the Heartland Owners Forum and Family. We have a great bunch of people here with lots of information and all willing to share their knowledge if needed.

Be prepared to meet lots of great folks, eat lots of great food and have fun. If you haven't joined, think about joining the Heartland Owners Club. Check out the benefits here.

Enjoy the forum and your Greystone.

Jim, I would second that. LOTs of great food and lots of great people. Since starting the Chapter 4 years ago, I have made so many great friends. One of the reasons I keep doing this is because it's a lot of fun. I tell everyone that all I do is provide the opportunity to have fun and you can have as much fun as you want at these events. With many of our Pacific region going to the national rally this year, we'll have even more to talk about and plan. Very much looking forward to seeing everyone!

Wow Deb!
This is going to be a big one! You have lots more people signed up for this than have signed up for the regional or talking online about going to the national. Great Job!

This is the opener for our rally season in the west. We will have lots to talk about, and eat, and raffle tickets to buy. Then people can really start thinking about what other events they want to attend this year. I can hardly wait!

Kristy

PS Deb, do want us to bring raffle prizes?

I updated my attendee list and added a little more info. I'll be posting more details as my budget becomes a little clearer. Waiting on commitments from RV dealer. We now have 26 rigs!!!! Hope I haven't missed anyone! There are also 2 Big Horns that are seasonal at the park that I have invited to attend. 3 spaces left as of this afternoon.

We are considering purchase of a Hartland 5th wheel. Is it possible to visit or attend this event to get information. We are from the Seattle area and will be returning from a trip down your way around the time of this rally.

Hi Harry,

Welcome to the Heartland Owners Forum and hopefully to the family. We have a great bunch of people here with lots of information and all willing to share their knowledge if needed.

I would thing you will be welcome to the rally. Since you are not a Heartland owner or club member you may be required to pay a very modest fee. Please contact slmayor (Northern Calif Chapter Leader). Please see the first post of this thread.

Enjoy the forum.

You are absolutely welcome to attend this rally. If you're just stopping by to visit with us, no fee needed. If you'd like to spend the weekend with us, we do have a modest $20 charge for non-members and you'll need to make your reservations at the KOA. At this rally, you'll get a good cross section of rigs to look at as we will have most of what Heartland produces.

Looking forward to meeting you!

If you won't have an RV with you, give the Feather Falls Casino a call. They have a motel on the property right next to the RV park.

Heads up, final schedule posted on the intro post. I will also have a handout in your goodie bags so you won't have to remember all this stuff. If you could let me know by Friday if you are interested in the wine tasting, I will be able to get an approximate head count for them.

As of this posting, I will have a tech available on Friday, sponsored by RV's of Sacramento, available to do small checks, service items on your trailers. On Saturday, our tech from Safari RV will be available to do alignment checks (weather dependent) with our new Correct Track laser tool, and also other small service items. If you have small items that need to be addressed, you will be able to sign up both days to have them checked. If you already know you have parts that need to be replaced or a problem with an appliance (generic, like a furnace won't light, etc) please let me know ahead of time so we can make sure we have some parts available. While the labor is free, the parts are not, unless you are under warranty. Any warranty repair items need to go through RV's of Sacramento, although both techs can do documentation for you.

See you there!!!!

Our main slide seems a little rough when closing. Could we get the tech to check that out?

PJ,
that's just the kind of thing we'll be doing. RV's of Sac will be there on Friday, and our guy on Saturday. I'm making sign up sheets as we speak and will have them available by Thursday.
Can't wait to see everyone!

Deb,

Thank you for all your hard work in getting this rally put together. We all appreciate your dedication and focus to get this all done. THANK YOU ! ! !
Looking forward to meeting you and all the other H-landers. See you Thursday :)

Donna & I would be interested in wine tasting (Just got back from doing that today in Amador County). MMM MMM GOOD .

Thanks Rod and Donna for the kudos, but other than the phone calls, it's not a ton of work. The first one was, even with only 4 rigs, but after that, they get easier. I look at it this way. I just provide the opportunity to have fun. Wether you do or not, is up to you. :)
I'll confess, I'm not the most organized person on the face of the earth. That would be Kristy,(Ziggy) our OR chapter leader. And for attention to detail, that would be Teresa (TessaM), our Central CA leader. Luckily, they have helped me greatly for the other events. Yep, we really are one great big, happy family! At our events, I welcome feedback and help in any form. Looking forward to seeing everyone. Keep your fingers crossed that the weather man is wrong and we won't need all the easy-ups and tarps...LOL (We do have a club house to use in the event of rain.)

Hope the weatherman changes his forcast. It looks wet most of the week on the 10 day. Guess that means you should sign Karol and I up for wine tasting.
