We are going to have it the w/e before the national rally....check out the portal page for any posted dates for Elkhart...usually this time of June....we will be the w/e before that...that way folks can use our rally as a stopover on the way in to the big rally. And you MUST go to the big rally next year.....factory tour and more!!! A great time at national...this year it's in Nashville!

Thanks everyone for posting that you made it home safely....always like mom and pop with their kids...wanting to make sure everyone made it home safe!!!! It was our pleasure to host your rally and even though we seemed really busy we had just as much fun!!! Mark those calendars for the w/e prior to the national rally for next June!!! We had 20 rigs this year...next year I'd love to have a few more! Can we do it????????

Hey Everyone! We are home safe and incident free! Gus, can you please provide us with the toll free number for rally-a-holics? We have a problem that needs to be addressed! See all y'all in NY if not sooner.

We finally made it home safe and sound. Ran up on two accidents (83 and 695) which slowed us down for about 90 minutes. Not a good day for trucks!
Cheryl and Jim we had a great time at your Rally. The Pot Lucks were our favorite but "Win it in a Minute" was hilarious. Michael got some good pictures. If we can figure it out (being the computer savvy folks we aren't) we'll post them on the HOG. Looking forward to the next rally (we've got the fever--BAD). Michael is whining about NY and I so hate to hear him whine...........

Glad to hear you latest posters made it home safe and sound! Aren't Heartlanders a great bunch of people? I'm not making that up! At the start of the rally, many were strangers...and everyone left as friends! Love you guys!!!!

Jim tried to upload the pictures to the HOG but we seem to be having technical difficulties...(of course!) Check back to see if we can get them loaded....

Our rally photos that Jim took are up and available for viewing. Go to Tools, HOG, left column open up the Rallies folder, click on 2010. Look for dieselengineer photos.

You know you've been to a lot of rallies when you recognize almost everyone in the pictures and you weren't even at the rally! Nice pics!

Well we must be about the last to check in. We got home about 3:30, took us about 6 1/2 hr. Then had to wash the truck and go to the car show for supper. As usual Cheryl & Jim put on a great rally we had a wonderful time. Met a bunch of new Heartlanders and reunited with old friends. It was so good to see everyone and hope to see you in Nashville or New York. Patti & Jon

You know you're a rally-holic when:

1) you know everyone in the pictures and you weren't even there
2) you begin your introduction with "My name is ______ and I'm a rally-holic
3) you don't even question the distance to the next rally, you just load up the fridge, pack clean clothes, set the GPS and go
4) forget Bob, Dan, Eric, and Jim...it's ringhanger, cableman, flying dutchman, and dieselengineer
5) you know the mascot, alcoholic drink, and secret handshake of every state chapter
6) you have a post in every chapter leader's thread that reads "we're signed up for site # ____ and we'll see you on Friday!" (or, in some cases, Monday of the week before!)
7) you ask your DW what is on the menu for the potluck, and you're not even at camp
8) the rally medals on your lanyard touch the top of your shoes

LOL Jimtoo....the bakery was all out of 5th wheels for decorations..so we had to get the next best thing....actually, we thought we would just reminisce about the old days before we started to use pop-ups and such....ah, those were the good old days...when we were happy pitching a tent and going to the creek for water.....

Scruffy characters maybe...but such talent in the Minute to Win It game...fierce competitiveness....and Jon H can blow a mean balloon!
