Fresh Tank

All of a sudden the fresh tank doesn't like taking water, vent doesn't appear to be plugged. Even stuffed a hose down the filler, worked for a minute. Units a year old and this has never been an issue.

Try opening a faucet and let the water flow slow. That way any air in the lines can exit. You may have a kink in the line. You don't specify which type of RV you have. Fill out the rig information in your profil, so that those who have the same rig can help out.

Thanks

If the vent has water in it you may have to pressurize the fill line a bit to push it out. Very hard to fill per our experience. Some poster have gone to using a short section of hose to fill the tanks. The normal small fill adapters dont work for us. Poor design for sure. Other foks rig up a pressurized fill system similar to what some coachs come with.

I would pull the wall in the basement and take a look, you can see quite a bit of the fill hose and vent line. Your Landmark system is a little different than the Bighorn but they are still basicly the same, yours is 100 gal. Sounds like a fill hose or venting problem to me.

Kiddruger,

To make sure the vent is clear of water, take a short (1 foot) section of hose or any other tubing you have handy, press it tightly against the vent, and blow hard to expel and water back into the tank.
