Bahahaha....tell that to my wife as she has like 20 cameras in her bmw and still hits stuff!!! 🙄

I have spray lined every truck I ever owned and bed rugged the last few on top of that...the srw has taken a BEATING (cords of firewood, gravel, bricks, and engine blocks)...

I did finally get some decent damage on one when some Roman candle balls landed in the bed (don't ask!!👹)

When I pulled it (bed rug)up to replace it the spray in looked brand new!!!...and it was 5 yrs old...!!!

As most of you know that stuff fades after a couple of years if left in the sun....but this stuff looked day one new...not a dent nor a gouge from the abuse .....

Of course this is a metal bed...but considering what I threw at it, I can't see how and aluminum would fare any worse...

LMFAO

The wife yelled at me for looking at the new ford truck. She said and I quote "YOU ARE NOT GETTING A NEW TRUCK SO DON'T EVEN LOOK"

17 Ford trailer TPMS. Ford says not use on steel belted tires. E-Mailed Trailer Tires and wheels about valve hole size in wheel and in his response said he heard there were issues with Ford TPMS sensors in steel belted tires. Would have been nice

From the comments I'm guessing the Ford trailer tire sensors are internal to the tire. Is that correct? If so forget it. I was hoping and thinking it was an external I could move from trailer to trailer as needed.

Went to Homestead race this past weekend.Talked to a "Product Specialist" for Super Duty asked about TPMS and Camera. His answer for TPMS was they should work with aluminum wheels and steel belted tires only valve stem hole size could be an issue. He also said they will only tell you tire pressure,no high or low settings and good to 125psi.

I'll get them in to my tires but it also looks like I'll still be running my TST system somewhere out of sight but I want to hear it if I have a warning alarm.

Hi everyone. I have been a member of the forum almost from the beginning of the forum. Don't get on much anymore but have just purchased a 2017 f450 Lariat crew cab dually. Got my Reese hitch adapter and my Reese 5th wheel hitch in today. Now looking at purchasing the the Ford tpms kit for my Landmark. But after reading this post, not sure what to do. I have the Valor system already, but would like to get from using it, if I can see the info in my dash screen. So what is the solution?

I would think Ford would make their tire and video monitors to be compatible with all common units-- much like garage door openers and etc. That is good engineering and marketing.

Terry - from what I've learned, Ford does not offer TPMS on the F450. I've decided to try the TireMinder Smart TPMS. This is one that uses your Smartphone or Tablet instead of a separate dedicated display. Like Valor, TST and others, TireMinder also offers a more traditional system that includes a cab display (their A1A system).

Hi Jim. Thanks for the response. I called my Ford dealers parts dept this afternoon and there is a kit available for my 450 but my concern is the issue of the sensors not working because of the steel belts in our GY G614 tires and my truck does have an area in the trailer tow screen for the trailer tire pressure. I already have the valor system which works fine, but wanted to get away from having the monitor on the windshield or dash if possible. Thanks

Terry, Jerrod (jesstalkn) on this forum has the Ford TPMS on his F350 and on his Landmark. He found that the signal does work with his Goodyear tires.
