hepvo trap leaking at shower

Our prowler has a factory installed hepvo trap on the shower drain. despite tightening the connection, water still leaks st the fitting. i think the seal/o ring needs replacing. has anyone replaced this seal, or do you just get a new hepvo trap ?

first went to rv dealer. They had a hepvo kit for only $175 (cdn). parts guy said the price was unreal, but they stocked them for those that need them. i said i was about to 'unneed' them pretty quick.

subsequent online searcing found same part for $50 cdn plus shipping.

however, the problem is not the 'trap' part, but the seal. went to local plumbing store, paid $.50 for an oring that when added to fitting stopped the drip.

problem solved, for now
