With all of the crazy here is what I will be ordering this week once we get all of the details sorted from the blow out.

I believe it will cost about $1975 shipped for the set of (4). The date code on the tires will be within about 4 months on them. One thing I am debating is putting in a TPM. Seems like the wise thing to do but is it needed on 17.5 H rated tire?

With those rims I wont have to swap out the 9/16 studs for the 5/8 studs like you have to do for Piloted wheels. These wheels will also work for those that have the 1/2 studs.

Yes. Just because it's a better tire doesn't mean it's oblivious to road hazards. A puncture and slow leak could do as much damage as your TowMax tire did before you know what happened.

I agree with John. No tire is immune to road hazards, etc....will ALWAYS use a TPMS! BTW, LOVE our 17.5's...was the most relaxing summer running around the country we ever had.

Whether on not you get the TPMS right now or not I would definitely have the steel valve stems put in so when you do get the TPMS you will not have to change them. By the way the people at Trailer Tire are good people and have treated me well over the years. They are located about ten miles from me.

Great tire/wheels upgrade.

I lost a tire due to a drum cracking at the bearing install tube, causing the tire to rub the shock, shredding, and finally starting to deflate. The TPMS shrieking was the only indication in the truck cab I had that this was going on.

Sometime in the future buy the TPMS, too.
