What is a common truck bed rail (top) to the bottom of the Fiver trailer (pin box area) distance in measurement.

My Road Warrior 400 sits 10 inches. Seems high after looking at it. Dropping it 4 inches from 10 ok to do?

About 6" between the bottom of the trailer and the top of the box is considered the minimum. More than that won't hurt. Main consideration is to have the trailer sit level when hitched and also the truck to sit level. With the high box sides on the current crop of trucks sometimes it's difficult to get the 6" minimum space....Don

Hi Don. Thank you for your feedback. I will make the adjustment since it seems a little on the high side.

The 6 inch minimum I would imagine gives enough clearance for vertical and horizontal damage prevention?
