I actually had one of the VW's in our shop in the late 60's early 70's... when ever it eas they came out. Was neat looking and did just what the video shows.

The VW bug had a pretty good engine in the back, they could pull just about anything and do what 4 wheelers couldn't.
Overall this thread makes me feel old... lol

Loved my 1970 Beetle I drove from 1988 - 1993. Dad bought it used from a neighbor in the late 70s or early 80s, and it was as old as I was.

Gave it back to my dad in 93 when I bought my first new car. He eventually sold it in 2000. Saw it on the road, still going, in 2006, I think.
