Individual room controls

We have a switch inside on the control panel that operates all 3 slides on our Bighorn which we always use. There is also an individual room control panel in the front compartment . My question is should the 3 nobs on the IRC be in the 12 o'clock
position when traveling or the 6 o'clock position? It is a Lippert hydraulic system.

The knobs are shut off valves for each individual slide out. When closed (clockwise) the room will stay where it's at when you run the pump.
