Key Largo Front and Aft AC leaking when it rains.

Both my AC's are leaking through the over head seams when it rains. I suspect it's a mounting issue and have a tech coming tomorrow. Our bed and floor really got flooded the last few days. We do have buckets under the drips now. Has any one else had this problem and how did they repair it?

One more question off this subject. What is the spare audio jack for in the wall behind the DVD player ?

Thanks

Your suspicion of having a mounting issue may be correct.
When the AC unit is mounted there is a gasket of sorts that is made of foam rubber. It's maybe about 1-1/2" thick.
When the mounting bolts are tighetened that gasket must be compressed down to about 1/2-3/4".
If the bolts were not properly tightened the gasket may be leaking.
As far as the spare audio jacks, how are they labeled. 'Audio In' or 'Audio Out'?
And what model DVD player?

Peace

There are 3 jacks next to a 12 volt plug mounted in the cabinet. They are not marked.

My front AC has a empty hole and gasket. The missing bolt is installed further back with sealant for a gasket. I thought about retorqueing the bolts until I saw this.

Should the bolts have sealent on them when installed?

The bolts don't have sealant. The compressed rubber gasket does the sealing.
