Lake Anna State Park

This is our first ever camping trip with our new Bighorn. We needed a place close to home to test everything out. This campground is really nice. Very quiet. Beautiful, large lake for boating, canoeing, and kayaking, plus play areas and beach. Close to Fredericksburg and Richmond, Virginia. Close to major Civil War Battlefields and Washington, DC too. Campsites are very accessible with pull- throughs and easy to back into spaces. Water and electric, plus very nice " comfort stations."

Hi dskaczmar,

Congratulations on your new Bighorn. Welcome to the family and to the Heartland Owners Forum.

You'll find there's lots of great information here along with a bunch of friendly and helpful people. If you have questions, this is a great place to get answers.

Consider joining the Owners Club and coming to a rally to meet other owners and see how they've personalized their rigs. You'll make a bunch of new friends and have a great time. Even better, introductory memberships are free.
