Manually extend Care Free Awning

I have a 2019 Cyclone 4270 and the awning over the rear deck does not work. Has power to it, so I want to override it. I pulled the cover and found where you manually over ride it, however before I put too much pressure I would like to know for sure which way to turn it, clockwise, counter clockwise.

Called Care Free of Colorado and can't get through to a person. Called Lakeshore of Muskegon where I bought it....while on hold heard about the 6 master certified technician on staff....which would be reassuring, except they didn't know...…….so anybody here have any thoughts......if you do know that must certify you as a Master Master Certified RV Technician.

The manual states on the motorized versions the manual override can only be used to RETRACT the awning and not to extend it.

Spoke two Master Techs at Lakeshore, one did not know, the other said clockwise. Called Carefree Awnings and they said clockwise.......yet here it is, a perfectly good reason clockwise did not work......Thank You
