North Trail - RKS-26 Gray Tank Capacities

We recently purchase a 2011 North Trail 26RKS. This unit has 2 gray water tanks, however the brochure and owners manual do not indicate the capacities of these tanks. The brochure indicates 1 gray tank with a 37 gal capacity. We generally camp at state parks with electric only at the sites. At the end of each of our trips, with 1 tank of fresh water, the black water tank and gray water 1 will show 2/3s full and gray water 2 will show 1/3 full. What are the capacities of each of these storage tanks?

Thank you.

Interesting. I have a 2011 North Trail 26LRSS and it only has one gray water tank that has a capacity of 36 gallons.

We use 37 gal tanks...So you have 2 - 37 gal grey tanks one for the kitchen and one for the bathroom...you have 1 37 gal blank tank and 1 37 gal fresh water tank plus the 6 gal water heater....So you total fresh water is 43 gal....Hope this helps.

Hi DMFARIN,

Welcome to the Heartland Owners Forum and Family. We have a great bunch of people here with lots of information and all willing to share their knowledge if needed.

Glad to see another North Trail owner join us. Check out the portal page and think of joining us in the Heartland Owners Club and some of the rallies in your area.

Enjoy the forum.
