Thanks Dave it turned out great. However I'm sore as heck today from crawling around under there with the welding helmet on my head.

I have both power sources 110V & 12V near there but they are under the bed which moves in and out so I'm still working on that dilemma.

Ok this little project is finish. Well minus the power supply. I'm still working on that and Rhonda gave me a good idea today so it's still on my list

Some of you my be wondering why I went through all of that work for a little phone shelf next to the bed.
Well two reasons.
# 1) because my business runs pretty much 24-7 and I'm on call 24-7 365 days a year. So the phone is always by my side.
And # 2) because it's fun !!!!!

Thanks Dave, That was another one that I've been kicking around for a long time. Now I just need to run 110 power into that wall to complete it.

The more I see it in pictures I might have to loose the piece of counter top and replace it with a nice routered piece of wood. I'll leave it like this for now and see if I change my mind.
Great project Jerrod. As soon as I saw the box taking shape, I guessed correctly where it would go. Over 2 years ago, I told Nancy I'd do something similar as that's her side of the bed in the Ashland. Well, that project won't get done as this may be our last long trip with this coach.
And for those that read this thread and review this project of the 102 others you've done, while any given project may not apply to them, it's the inspiration it generates and that DIY spirit that it may unleash in them.

As for power, you may have AC power in the closet where your Dyson vacuum plugged in - that's that's a fairly easy AC-grab. For DC, I'd run straight up the closet wall, then across the inside of the top frame to the door side, then down into the wiring chase in the storage bay and pick power under there or at the DC panel. Have fun!
On edit: Consider grabbing DC power at the LM365 sign circuit behind the dresser. Easy peasy!

Thanks Jim I do hope to inspire a few people as many on here have inspired me.
This forum and the vast amount of information and the highly knowledgeable people at my fingertips has inspired me to do what I do. And I've been having a blast doing it.

Great job that looks just like it was factory installed. I'm curious about your power solution comment. I recall that you installed a great USB module awhile back that would be the ideal solution IMHO. It's small, neat, and a very clean universal look. Besides you're always going to have 12v DC which is not always the case with 120v AC.
BTW I buying that same USB adapter module that you installed earlier and putting it in my entertainment area to charge phones. Thanks for all your post for upgrades. They are fantastic.

I wouldn't mind having a welder. I've had a few times where I wanted to weld something. I'm going to be making a visit to our local weld shop here in a few days to get a quote on welding up a new rear bumper and hitch section for me.

Dave I've had the little 110v welder for quite a few years now. I had bought it to weld up a aluminum stud in my toyhauler that I drilled into with a 4" hole saw. I was installing a access door in the side to get to my batteries. I taped it all off, traced out the door where I wanted it, check and rechecked it, drilled my first hole and hit a stud
So I bought the 110 welder because that was the only power I had in my garage at the time.
Well after my garage remodel last year and running 60amp into the garage and 50amp to the RV I now can run anything I want.
This new multi purpose welder from northern tool is really a perfect setup for any garage.
In these pictures you see my 10 year old toyhauler
The right front corner you'll see the door I installed and right in the bottom corner you'll see the vent I had to install to cover my mistake. LOL
Before I installed the door you had to get to the batteries from the gen compartment. It was a PIA...
