Replace 235/80 R16 with 235/85 R16 Goodyear tires - will they fit?

We have a 2011 Cyclone 3812 and too many flats and tire blow outs.

We are considering to change to the 110 PSI tires from Goodyear. We know that we have to buy new rims as well but need to make sure that the bigger tire size will not cause an issue. We are afraid tires might be too close to each other and rubbing when we hits bumps in the road.

Any insight / input would greatly appreciated 😍

235/85r16's are larger that 235/80 r16's by about .9"

30.8" vs 31.7"

If you have to buy wheels,(I just did) these guys were first rate to deal with. Got 6 wheels rated for 4400 Lbs at 130 psi for $623 delivered. (Ultra Motorsports 226-6681U) They even had Ultra Engineer send me a copy of the test proving the claims. Killer service and killer wheels for a killer price.

I've got basically the same situation going on right now. Stepping up to the 235/85 that I'm currently looking at will up the weight bearing capacity by 884 pounds (Index jump from 123 to 125) for only $6.00 more on the total installed price.

I can't image a 1'' diameter increase affecting the coach's suspension capabilities whatsoever.

****, the Blowmax tires that are still on there have tread separation and are ballooned out to 33'' wide, and there's still a several inch gap between them.

Doesn’t Heartland equip the new units with the Sailuns now?

The G614 is not as tall as a normal 235/85R16, and is very close to most ST234/80R16E's. However they are very expensive. The Saulin ST235/80R16G can be had for half the price and are a very good tire. Chris

Our friends new 3270 Big Horn (two weeks ago) came with Westlake LRG tires, so Sailun's may now be out.
