Slide bottom repairs.

I went to an R.V. dealer in Yuma this morning regarding a slide problem. While there I looked at a brand new Landmark. On the bottom of one of the slides I noticed two screws protruding from the bottom of the floor. Just a matter of time before the slide rips up the lino. I just wonder how much inspection actually occurs before these units are shipped? Heartland sent me the trim pieces for the bottom of my slide which are marked left and right and are completely different to anything I have seen. No instructions on how to install them. The ends are angled I am assuming to go around the back of the slide. I have no idea how to get them back there post production. Has anyone else used these trim pieces from the factory? I know people have used aluminum strips or angle iron in the past. I just can't see these strips staying in place.

Rick, could you post a picture of the pieces that were sent to you?
Someone on this forum should be able to assist you.

Peace
