The living/kitchen are on hydraulics on the newer ones. The bedroom slide is usually electric. We have not had any issues with our slides after the initial PDI fixes. Our issue was lack of cleanliness on the dealers part. Not an actual issue from the factory or due to faulty or inferior manufacturing.

We have had another brand of toy hauler. I wouldn't go back to it ever. The quality of this one is far superior. From the counter tops to the appliances, the doors, I haven't found anything that is inferior.

We use Hydraulic slide outs in the main living slides, and Norco (cable driven system) on the King bed slides and wardrobe slides on the upper decks. These are definitely the fastest and most reliable systems available especially when compared to the shwintech slide system that many of our competitors use. The shwintech system uses a computer regulate voltage to control two remote control car motors running the slide in and out (look for the small tracks screwed to the slide out end walls). The main issue with that system is the variance in weight between a loaded and non-loaded slide out. The computer may have proper voltage for each motor when empty, but once loaded can change significantly causing slide out to bind and not function properly. This problem is multiplied on larger toy haulers because of the size, weight, and heights of main slide out rooms.
