slide problem

I have a 2015 Silverado 5th wheel. The one slide binds at the top outer corner and shakes the entire coach when releasing during sliding in.Campers World had it a month and stated it was fixed but obviously it has not been. This is scary since I'm afraid this binding will crack the frame .I have one more month before warranty runs out. any ideas before I take it back in for the third time?
lso is there a lemon law for campers?

Hi rondon,

Welcome to the Heartland Owners Forum and to the family. We have a great bunch of folks here with lots of information and all willing to share their knowledge when needed.

I suggest you call Heartland Customer Service, 574-262-8030 or 877-262-8032, have your VIN when you call. Explain what has happened and ask if they have some suggestions for you or for a local independent repair service that they work with that will do warranty work.

Also I'm sure some of our other members will jump in soon with suggestions.

Be sure and check out our Heartland Owners Club. Join us at a rally when you can and meet lots of the great folks here and make friends for a lifetime.

Enjoy the forum.

I gather my reply was not appreciated since I did not find it on the site. Perhaps I was a bit hasty in my assessment of the site and Heartland Manufacturer as they were more than willing to assist me.
My apologies to the forum readers and Heartland .Upon reading other's problems I'm sure I will find good information in the future.
thank you again

In most States the Lemon Laws are only for motorized vehicles. Even then the dealer has 3 chances to correct the SAME problem before it is enacted. It's not as easy as it sounds and you don't automatically get all your money back. Why not just bring it to a different dealer and get it adjusted?..Don

You might want to try diagnosing the problem yourself. You can start and stop the slide while trying to figure out why it's binding., then when you take it to the shop you can point out the problem.

If your slide binds in one corner. My first thought is that your slide is moving crooked. Move your slide out to the point of bind. Go outside and measure from fixed points on your frame the extension length of each corner. This should give you a starting point. Make sure you measure inside too.
