They are a magnetic WiFi sensor that mounts to the bottom of the tanks. It sends a signal to a display or phone app.
Can be purchased on Amazon or PPL RV

We have the TankCheck sensors -- not that impressed.

The instructions say there needs to be an open space below the tank for the sensor to read properly, not sitting on a metal base. We added some shims to help get the tank up a bit.

They seem to still drop the connection even when we are sitting still... which means they read 0.

You have to re-pair the sensor to the app -- which means taking out the tank to press a button on the magnetic TankCheck sensor on the bottom for a few seconds, replace it, then try to get the tank back in place without dislodging the sensor. (On a full 40# tank lifting higher than waist high this is not easy).

Since we have induction cooktop, we haven't used much propane at all during the summer.

I'm hoping we can find a reliable solution for the sensors by the "propane season", which luckily is later in the fall here in TX.

Latest Mod... is it a 2nd bedroom?, is it a tanning bed?, is it the Dawg-house when I've been bad? Could be all of the above, but I've expanded the basement and gained another 10.187 cubic feet of use able storage space. Here's what the original storage space looked like

Lots of wasted space!

Simple 4 screw removal to access plumbing. Also 2 screws to access the water pump. Tie down also serves as handle to remove panel.

99.9% complete, I've been waiting for 2 days now for the motion sensor to complete the project.

Yeah, kind of looks that way doesn't it. The rain reflection sure added that extra touch.

Pretty sure it's Jackson as I don't recall any rain in Vegas to make that shiny reflection.

Regardless - this was so impressive that walking by the rig on my way from the club house in Jackson to my own rig, it caught my eye such that I had to stop and knock on the door to chat :)

Love your basement mod Steve! Wondering... Could you have picked up some additional vertical space by installing a Hepvo valve IPO the trap from the shower or sink drain where you did the angle wall? If that pipe shadows the 3" toilet waste pipe, I guess you'd be locked into what you did.
