Tornados in Oklahoma

Oklahoma is really getting hammered by tornados right now and it may continue for another day. I think a prayer is in order for the folks in Oklahoma and especially for all of our Heartland friends for the safety of them and their loved ones . . . Oklahoma city is getting hit really hard with grapefruit sized hail (they had pictures of the hail on Fox news). God bless them all.

Hope everyone is safe. Tornadoes are no fun but the destruction can be horrible. Our thoughts and prayers are with all.

We're in Jefferson City, MO right now, had intended on leaving Tuesday headed south, but think we'll move up our departure and leave out in the morning. Tomorrow night here doesn't look very good.

Jan & Bill, please travel safe. Want to be able to see you soon or at least at the National Rally.

Keeping everyone in my prayers, really hope all stay safe and can get to a safer area with nothing more than the jitters.

I spoke with Larry Keever and they are fine. I spoke to Gary Tidball and his ex wife Vickie's house was damaged but she and her daughter are okay. I tried to call Orville Wright but got no answer on his cell and his home phone wouldn't go through. According to Larry, Orville and Barbara's house is directly in the path of the tornado.

Praying for all in the storm areas and especially those in Oklahoma which seems to be the hardest hit.

Our thoughts and prayers are with our Heartland family but also for the children of the 2 schools that were destroyed in Moore today. Just heard that there were deaths of the 3rd grader at Plaza Elementary School. So sad.

I have many friends out that way, one lives in Weleetka, talked to him and he said they've had rough weather but so far so good. Another lives in McAlester and I have not been able to get in touch with him.

Praying for my friends and everyone else as well

McAlester is south of me and has not been hit. They should be fine.

Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers. So far, to the best of our knowledge, all of the OKHOC members are safe. Stacy and I made contact with everyone we could via Facebook or phone for all we had contact numbers for. We were down south in Louisiana and got home yesterday in the middle of it. We just got severe thunder storms and high winds here. Talk about lucky timing. We pulled in the drive, parked the Big Horn behind the house, put the truck in the shop and while I was between the house and my shop it hit. I watched my metal oil drain pan disappear into the canola field.

Please pray for those folks in Moore who have lost everything and that they find those still missing.
