TV Cable set up, 2880 RLS

Probably a stupid question to some, but recently tried to set up the TV cable at an RV park. There are 2 cable connection ports outside and 2 inside. I "assume" 1 is for the main TV and the other for the bedroom TV. There are also 2 cable ports at the main TV as well. Ran the cable to both and never could get the darn TV to recognize the cable. Us old folks are not as media smart as we should be. Antena works fine and can view DVDs. Any simple instructions? TV=LE4034.

The outside connections should be labeled "Cable" and "Satellite".

When you are using park cable, plug the coax cable from the park connection to the "Cable" port outside and run a second coax cable from the inside port labeled "Cable" (probably the top one) to your TV - run a channel scan (with the booster off) and you should be fine.

Along with what Mike said, be sure to go to the setup source menu on your TV and specify 'Cable' as the source or input before you do a channel scan.

Peace
