What did you do to your camper today?

Looking between the bars is easier than it looks.

The shade closed provides total privacy -- no one can see in at night, and it significantly reduces the summer heat transfer through the window.

Can you open and close the shades with the door and screen door shut?

Yes! That is the beauty of this product over other door shades.

Notice the handle that sticks down to the sliding door opening. If you go to the company's website they have a little gif that shows the shade opening and closing, see earlier post.

Noticed water on the floor behind the Dometic 320 toilet, so went investigating. Turns out it's the vacuum breaker on the back of the toilet leaking, but only when the foot pedal is pressed. Toilet is out of the 2 year warranty.

Thanks to Amazon, a replacement is on its way.

I've got a little drip when the pedal is pushed, too! :p

Wonder if it is the same thing?

Mine is a Thetford, though...

Cleaned and oiled all the woodwork. Didn’t realize there was that much.
Used a product recommended by custom cabinetmaker friend. Amazing product.

Today I cleaned the roof with Dicor cleaner. Tomorrow I will apply the protectant and then wash and wax the rig. Thanks to Carl Swoyer for the advice.

Shortened the dining room table by 1/2 inch. It was crashing into the kitchen island when the slide was pulled in and wearing a mark on both. Now it has 1/4 inch clearance. Project well done.

Our solution to that was to unscrew the table from the floor and rotate it 90 degrees. Makes it easier to get the to rear with the slides in and the table doesn't appear to move around when on the road. Since it's normally just the two of us, we got rid of the four chairs and bought two Amish Windsor chairs. When needed, I have two nice wooden folding chairs, one of which I use at the computer desk.

John in the 2018 Bighorn (I believe all models) the are no longer a free standing table. The table is mounted to the wall and the floor with a steel L frame. Very sturdy I might add. There is a lot of leg room now.

Dave, for that and a few other reasons, I'm happy I have an older Bighorn. Being able to rotate the table and shift it around makes for more room for us and easier to sit four people around it. With the original chairs and mounted to the floor, four adults got more than cozy with each other. Made playing cards and games difficult, too.

Hope all is well with you. We're taking our rig back to our site on Monday, but won't actually be in "residence" until the following week.
