Here is a direct link to the pics.

Hoping that HL will have professional marketing pics and a full write-up we can use in the January Newsletter. (hint hint!)

Re: CY 4200 release date?

Now that's outta the way, time for the more important question... THE PRICE??? (I know forum rules would prevent an answer here, so when will the dealers find out) Or how about one of those new build sheets Mr. Beletti.

Re: CY 4200 release date?

I am not going to lie, I am kind of disappointed. The 2nd patio system on the side is what I feared. Seen them on the Class A's and thought it was neat then. I was really hoping for something innovative never seen before. Then 10' garage kills it for me. The 2nd full bath is different but not at the sacrifice to lose length in the garage.

But I am sure this will appeal to a give crowd. Just can't please everybody.

Re: CY 4200 release date?

The floor plan actually has a 12' garage not 10' that is a miss print. The bathroom does go into garage but there is still enough room to fit a 4 seated side by side.

Re: CY 4200 release date?

Howdy!

We considered delaying our order on a Cyclone 4000 elite, and after seeing the pic's of the 4200 now I'm glade we went with the 4000. I much prefer the third slide over another patio. Would have liked the residentual reffer and inverter.

What are the chances that the large bedroom window and pullout TV will make it into the other king bed cyclones?

What? I waited how long to see this 'All New Concept'... and the hype was way more than delivered. Very disappointing to me. I know there will be lots of folks that will love this, but for us it definately is not practical. I cannot imagine having a sink just sitting out in the garage like that.

Re: CY 4200 release date?

Well a long wait, not what I was waiting for. Living area on the inside is smaller than the other "big" rigs. Counting the patios in the square foot dimensions is kind of misleading. I will spend a lot of time inside watching TV love the 4000 couch but want the extra 1/2 bath, guess it is between the 3800 and the 4100. Will wait to order till after the first of the year for tax reasons in Missouri and hope to see it within 120 days after that. I've got the ram 3500 Cummings now just need the 5th wheel!

Re: CY 4200 release date?

We have so many people calling in for it every day that upper management wanted pulled off until it was released. We should be FINNIALLY be releasing on Dec 3, 2013 at the Louisville show, which I will release the pictures here FIRST, and I can assure you will not be disappointed.

I could understand "why" on facebunk, but ....................... just sayin'

Re: CY 4200 release date?

I like the side patio but not at the expense of interior space. I could see grilling on the back patio and watching TV on the side. I wonder what the load rating is for it.

I do not see the need for a 2nd full bath. We never use our 1/2 bath in the garage for other than storage. It's just another holding tank that has to be maintained and doesn't have a tank flush. If I ever decide to add a w/d, I will use that space for it instead of the BR closet.

Re: CY 4200 release date?

Love the side deck. Like scottyb I wouldn't want to give up the space for it. We do have people living in the back so a full bath would be cool. Also love our galley the way it is now. This one is smaller and once again the cook is facing the wall….

Bottom line, it would have been a tough choice if we were buying today….. but I am not regretting getting our 4100 earlier this year.

Re: Well, it's time to ask about the 4200 again???

Living space should only be calculated by interior space. I don't think is should include patios (rear or side). My 2 cents. I'm not going to lie, I was hoping for something completely different.

Re: CY 4200 release date?

My wife is trying to talk me into converting our 4100 rear bath into a laundry also - we hardly ever use it. I guess if we decide to do that it is good to already have hot/cold and a separate holding tank for it. Wonder if Heartland could sell a conversion kit (hint, hint)?

Re: CY 4200 release date?

I think to really appreciate the concept of the new 4200 you need to look at it from the perspective that this toy hauler was designed for a crowd. If just my girls show up I'm at 6, bring some friends to make a dozen, invite some guest to tailgate and your at 20 plus. With a crowd the 2nd bath is a must and the sink in the garage makes it available when the bath is in use. Everyone I’ve talked to loves their ramp patio, so why not double the fun and with the sliding glass door it seems very accessible and gives you a view from the kitchen on the entry side. There is not a tailgater on the lot that doesn’t have an outdoor TV rigged up, the slam door table is neat, and when it comes time to eat your gonna need a big fridge and lots of counter space. We like the new 4200, but not enough to pry us off of our decision to upgrade to a 3800 that has all our must haves... extra seating, two baths and a four door fridge.

The idea is growing on me now that I know the garage is 12'. What would have been cool if the side patio was on a Slide out. Losing the width in the living room sucks really.

Heartland, take this trailer to the next level, call it 4200 RevB, Add a slide to the galley and incorporate the Patio on that.

There is four things I do not like about my 300C and the next TH will have them,
My wants,

12' garage
3rd slide (2nd for the Galley)
Bathtub like in the King (I need more room to shower)
Triple Axle

Homes sqft is calculated by air condition space. RV's should be as well.
