Last fall before leaving for Arizona we got an used set of stairs for our summer RV park lot. This week we added a 42" x 80" section next to the door that we can slide out while removing and backing the trailer into the site. Today we stained them grey with a solid color stain. It is sure nice to walk up to the door and open it. bring groceries home, you can place them on the porch and then go up and take them inside.
This is what was gifted to us last year. We replaced the steps and deck boards with new outdoor wood.

Very nice! At a park we frequent when we go visit family, we see a lot of fulltimers with porches. I've often wondered how they move the rig with such a setup. Yours looks great!

Finally finished 3 projects today! Bikes are cleaned up, new chain oil and lubed, new tubes in all tires, and new seats. With our rack, we can remove the front wheels and seats and fit them in the basement.
We replaced our 2 OEM Interstate Group 27 batteries. Even from day one, they've never held a charge very well. Sam's Club sells a Duracell group 31 AGM battery at a lower price than anyone. After much research it looks to be made by Deka. We had to replace the battery boxes as well, bought them at WalMart.
We finished our 2500 watt (modified sine) inverter install. We did not design it to run lots of household items. It's just for emergency use -- we had it in our old rig, to run our air compressor. It has a 20amp plug/extension cord.
Tony has pics of some things but he's hit the hay.
More to get done before heading to Goshen!

Thanks, I hooked a tow strap to the section on skids and pulled it out to stain it. I then used a come along and a stake in the ground to pull it back in.

Washed the Bighorn today...roof was very dirty from a LONG Winter and getting the solar panels clean was top priority.

I need to do this myself as I am still running on original battery from when we bought the rig. I also want to upgrade to two batteries as well.
I also added two blue led light strips under my steps and still need to replace my awning led light strip and make a decision about led lights for underneath my rig.

Our summer RV Park is a private membership park, where one's membership is tied to a particular site. We have two sites across the street from one another. The first one we have had for 9 years, and last summer we purchased the one across the road for parking and visitors. So the stairs can remain of the site while we are off snowbirding. You are allowed a 120 square foot shed per lot, fire pit etc. In our phase (3) each site has a septic tank, water and metered electrical. Garbage is included in membership fees. Park is secure with a gate and we have to go to the gate to card in visitors and again to card them out.
Security patrols the park 24/7/365. Lots of sunbird/snowbirder. You are limited to 180 nights per year. We can have multiple guest up to 30 days each per year. Everyone travels around inside the park in golf carts, gators, side by side's, and get this, speed limit is 5 MPH. There are 22 miles of roads inside the park with 1400+ sites on 360 acres.

Andy, be aware the darn batteries weigh 69lbs a piece, and you must turn in your old batteries to avoid paying a "core charge". The good news is that I took my one battery, bought the two new, then after we installed a week later, went back to Sam's and returned my second battery for refund on its core charge.

Well, I bought a new shower faucet from Amazon back in January, and we just got around to installing it this weekend. Turns out, it leaks. 
Will have to order another and return it.
But here's the pic.
By the way, everyone may want to check behind the opening and the shower assembly for sealant.
The round access hole had very little silicone around it, and the shower assembly had none. It appeared as though water was getting behind the shower assembly and access port, though not a lot, and creating/leaving soap scum residue on the backside of the Fiberglass shower enclosure inside the wall. There was no evidence of water leaking at the connections or water making it down to lower areas.

Not all Sam's carry the Duracell AGM 31. Search online on their website to see which ones have it in stock. You can even pay for it online and pick it up later.

Just got our Senior Pass today - now I can save some shekels!!
Installed a Aux 12V outlet in the wet by for my Satellite Dish power. Saves a power supply hanging in there.
I also found my noisy water pump issue. The outlet is tight with no flex and pump is tight to the floor. Next trip to hardware store going to get braided extension to provide isolation.
The overflow for the water tank dribbles down the frame and under the corplast. Going to extend this down below the frame.
Oh yeah camping with hydro only on night 3 with 1 tank of water, still half full!

Upgraded my 2 year old AT&T Unite Pro (Netgear 781s) Hotspot to the AT&T Unite Explore (Netgear 815s). Also my 4 year old Pepwave Surf On-The-Go Router to the Pepwave Surf SOHO. Both were easy to set up and much faster! I am no expert at this stuff, but running speed tests before and after gained almost double the download speed (around 50Mbps), and marginally increased the upload speed (around 15Mbps).
