The sealant used on the threads had a chemical reation with the plastic. Those fitting do not require or need any thread sealant on them.

You need to get the batteries in an enclosed compartment and vented to the outside. Regardless if they are sealed or not.

Kitchen transformation is now complete. Finished installing a new convection/microwave oven. New Induction cook top, dishwasher, oven, cornices through out, and blinds. Now wifey is happy and can't wait to get on the road.

Since I removed our stove top and replaced it with an induction cook top, I just raise the thermostat and let the furnace cycle, it usualy lights by the 2nd or 3rd attempt.

Just finished removing the gas cooktop and one drawer in the cabinet below the cooktop, and installed a 2 burner induction cooktop and a dishwasher.

Wiring and plumbing done.

Yes there is a breaker for each outlet, but the feed to the pedastal has a breaker on it from the main power distribution panel, usualy a 50 or 60 amp breaker on it.

Keep in mind that you may over load the pedestal. Just because the outlet is there, doesn't mean the capacity is there. Chances are there is a total of 50-60 amps available for the pedestal, which means you could pop the breaker feeding the pedestal.

You need heavier bars to transfer more weight.

The counter top modification was completed yesterday, now to get every thing hooked up. Pictures of the counter top. More pictures to come.

Personaly, I would install a battery in the garage near the winch location and use the shortest cable I could to the winch. The use a #10 wire to keep charged or a battery maintainer at the battery.

Yes the black pipe is ABS, Yes you can use PVC with the proper cement. They are both the same demensions, just different plastic. By using the Universal glue, they will glue together. No different than using CPVC with PVC.

You can also use the white SCH 40 pipe. it is the same demensions. You will have to use the univerasl glue, it will have a RED label.

Clean thuroughly, I use alcohol, Place a section of 3/8" fuel line in gutter, from the bottom side, apply a thin coat of Dicor Lap sealant, not the self leveling, let cure, remove fuel line.

Removed the cook top, modified the cabinet and test fitted a dishwasher and induction cook top. Having our local Corian dealer build and install a peice to fill the hole from the old cook top. It is scheduled for the 15th for install. Wife can't wait.
