How/when do you use your two A/C's?

The thermostat becomes satisfied, temp reached, and shut the unit off. When the temp rises, it turns on.

How/when do you use your two A/C's?

We have both on all the time. We run both on High until the thermostat is satisfied and the units start cycling after setup. The bedroom A/C is set approximately 3*-5* higher than the living room A/C. Once the coach cools down, we keep the living room set at 72*, we turn it to low. The...

    Still at Springfield.

I would set there with both greys open since your hooked up to sewer. We have been living in our Landmark since the last week of July, and we are only an hour south of you in Shell Knob. We have never had any problem with freezing the sewer hose yet, and the water has been running non stop for...

Hot nights and even hotter days in Mount Rushmore Florida!

You have a 20* drop across the coil, it is working. Humidity is a killer!! Our 06 cools well with the 15,000 and the 13,500 in the bedroom. Thing is, you have no shade, which helps tremendously. With that said, we have been able to maintain 72* in 108* heat on asphalt and direct sun, Tunica...

2008 Landmark Cape Cod, looking to purchase

You might check previous years for the floor plan. We have an 2006 Mt. Rushmore, the floor plan is the same as an 2005, and does not match the 2006 data. We had checked the title and the manufacture with the VIN to verify the year.

    Noise when heater come on

Go outside and see if the exhaust stays hot or it cools off when it is running. If it gets warm/hot then goes cold, the burner is not staying lit. You may have a blockage in the burner chamber causing it to overheat or blocking the flame sensor. If you don't have screens on your furnace...

    Grey Tank Smell

I think this is the problem. I would relocate the vent so it is out of the free air space behind the refrigerator. You can also sanitize the tank with a bleach solution as well, that will kill anything that is growing in there and making it so aromatic.

    Aux fuel tank

Any time you add a rigid fixture to a something that is designed to flex, you will get undesirable results. The tank needs to be mounted to only one plane, the bed. It also needs to have some kind of isolators to reduce vibration and resonating, making simple non-issue noises very loud and...

    Dually Tire Rotation

Here in the Ozarks where have very straight and flat roads, NOT! If you don't rotate, you will have less than the expected life in your tires. I have rotated all my dually's. One truck was rear inners to the front, front X-ed to the rear inners, and swapped side to side on the outers. Had...

Installed "Genturi" to mitigate generator exhaust gas, smell & CO monitor alarm

I have a 24 gallon fuel tank that I had custom made to bolt in behind my tool box and aux. fuel tank in the bed of the truck, just for the generator. Works very well once you get it primed.

Installed "Genturi" to mitigate generator exhaust gas, smell & CO monitor alarm

The pipe coming out of the generator is 1". I ran 1 1/2" all the way from the generator sweep the rear. Have had it running with the A/C, water heater, convertor and some small things on ( TV, Sat tuner, etc..) for over an hour with out issue. It is a 4K unit, so it was a pretty heavy load on...

Installed "Genturi" to mitigate generator exhaust gas, smell & CO monitor alarm

When I installed a generator in our Landmark, I made a exhaust pipe to go all the way to the rear of the coach. It exits out under where the ladder used to be. I also have the GenTuri to get the exhaust up high to dissipate. I didn't like the idea of the exhaust anywhere near the bedroom or...

    Warming light in the UDC

I use a small ceramic space heater in the basement on a seperate thermostat set at 55*. We have had low temps in the low teens and...

SOLVED: 3126B CAT motor wont start

Re: HELP - 3126B CAT motor wont start May have air in the fuel system. On the secondary fuel filter housing, there is a primer pump. Turn it counter clockwise and give it a few good strokes. If you you feel no hard resistance, you have air in the system. Pull off the fuel filter and make...

    Explanation of 50 amp service?

With a 220v each leg supplies the 110v. But each 110v leg must come from a separate buss. They can not come from the same buss. As for the 50amp Rv its more like a 30amp and a 20amp circuit. While each 110v leg could come from the same buss but each leg is also paired with a neutral wire...

    Backup lights

On our Landmark, we had the lights that faced out to the sides. Not very effective when backing, plus inconvenient, having to get out and switch them off and on. I posted this a few months back in another thread; In the pin box, you will find a metal 4" x 4" junction box with the pig tail...

slide hydraulics only work with Battery on

The hydraulic pump is 12v powered. The electric slide is also 12v powered. When the batteries are off, you are running off the convertor. The convertor alone cannot supply enough current to the pump motor, hence it does not work. Look at the size of wires feeding the hydraulic pump. Compare...

SOLVED: Genny spits fuel out by the air filter

Re: Genny spits fuel out by the air filter Your flooded with fuel. Pull the plug, crank it over to purge the cylinder ( ground the plug wire first, your going to blow a lot of fuel out of the spark plug hole ), dry the plug and install. DO NOT prime it any more, hold the choke open and crank...

    Level-up Landing Pad Idea

If you look at the legs, they are attached at a slight angle. This is what stabilizes it when set. They will need to slide as they level the coach. Your coating would be wiped off the first or second time they are used.

Loosing water from fresh water tank while traveling.

Had the same problem in our 06 Landmark. Had the belly down to rehang the fresh tank, I noticed there were 4 tank vents. One to the UDC and 3 out the back to the ground. One in every corner!! I eliminated 2 of them, left the one to the UDC and one to the ground. I installed a valve to the...

When we purchased our 06 Landmark back in 09, I noticed we didn't get much heat out of the ducts and the furnace seemed to short cycle. I found the block outs in 3 of the ports where missing. I found them under and around the furnace. They just twist in with little to no effort. I put a dab...

    Satellite receiver app

Any automatic antenna will work. The Tailgater from Dish does require there version of the VueCube. Personally I use the Wine Gard Carry Out and a receiver that would go in the house. I wouldn't go with the Tailgater or the VueCube, been using the Wine Gard for 5 years with out issue.

SOLVED: Half is on 12 volt and half is on AC current?

Re: Im back, still having interior light issues Check the polarity of the battery, if it is reversed, fuses are likely blown on the convertor. I would check the fuses on the convertor first, then check if there is a tripped GFIC and power to the outlet the convertor is plugged into.
