Fresh water tank falling out of trailer

When I remounted mine, I replaced the OSB with Advanteck OSB. Then I cut 3 pieces of 3/16"x1 1/2"x1 1/2 angle iron running front to rear in the original angle brackets. I then spot welded them in place. I guarantee that it will never come out on its own again! Then I installed 2" high...

Fresh water tank falling out of trailer

You won't have to drop the belly skin, if it is falling out, you will have a bulge under the tank area in the skin. If the tank is up where it belongs, the skin will be flat between the frame rails.

ATF: Bighorn - Fresh Water Loss

The vents are in the upper 4 corners. If you look at your gravity fill in the UDC, to the left of the fill hole, there is a small, about 3/4" hole with a screen in it, that is the vent back to the gravity fill. That is the way it is on our coach, yours very well may be different.

    Water pressure

If you run both at the same time, you will only get water from the tank and not the city hook up. Since the pump is higher pressure, it will close the check valve at the city water connection. Like suggested above, use the hose to keep the fresh water tank full and use the pump for you faucets.

ATF: Bighorn - Fresh Water Loss

Very common issue for several years. As the water moves around in the tank as you drive, it will flow out the over flow. On our Landmark, I found we had 4 vents in our fresh water tank, one in each corner. We experienced the same thing, loosing most our water in 200 miles. We live where it...

Problem sliding springed pin through both holes of landing gear leg

If you let the legs down and do not raise them up by hand and let the pin go through both holes, before applying a load, the pin will only be able to go through one side and get bent. It is very important to make sure the pin is through both holes before attempting to raise the coach.

    Insulate the Water Lines

If you insulate the pipes in the under belly, you also insulate them from the heat. The best thing to do is to raise all the water lines off of the under belly and attach them high against the floor or next to the heating duct work. Them add more insulation along the frame and on the belly skin.
