That #8 wire should handle 40 amps but if in doubt install a 30 amp breaker. If that becomes a problem, not likely, install a 40 amp breaker. They are under $10.

I'm not sure if that Apollo Half-Time is still in business but parts could still be available.
Loved our Half-Time when we had it.
You might try contacting Midwest Sales. I know they used to handle repairs for the Half-Time.

I'm a bit confused here. When you turn the electric on it will show electric on.
You may have a failed thermostat and/or high limit cutoff switch.
Check out our water heater manuals and troubleshooting guide. Click here.
Are you saying that you turned all the breakers off and the water heater...
If your gonna mess with your slide you might want to read up on how to adjust.
You can find manuals by clicking on Tools in the tool bar above. Or click here.
If you have a BAL cable operated slide there should be little foam blocks that are in place to secure those nuts.

It looks like you have Schwintek slide mechanisms.
Clicking the Tools button in the menu bar at the top of this page will get you to the instructions for that. Or you can click HERE.

Make a call to Heartland and I believe they can tell you where that cable terminates.
In my last Bighorn they were able to tell me where in the wall the thermostat wire was to be found.

I don't know if Heartland currently installs a dryer vent, but everyone I know of has had to install their own vent.
If you have to install your own I suggest that you check back here at the forum as there are a couple of precautions before you put a hole in the sidewall.

When you say he removed the black tank flusher did he physically remove the flusher from the tank?
Did the remaining hole get sealed?
Why bother to remove it when you could have left it in place and just ignored using it?
Sounds like something just didn't get sealed up.

I suggest you purchase a small gas detector and sniff around the oven. They are not expensive.
I say this because a few years ago we had a bad odor in the camper. It didn't smell like propane but it was a strange odor. Turned out that a valve on the stove was ajar and it was propane. Odd that...
I've had the same thing happen and others are correct in that the awning slid in one of its tracks.
In my case a small screw that holds the material in the track on the sidewall rusted off and allowed the material to move in the track.
I extended the awning, then with some help, took the...
Give Heartland a call. Having your VIN handy they will be able to help you out and probably will provide you with the materials to make a repair.

You most likely have a BAL slide mechanism. You can find the manual for that by clicking on the Tools button in the menu bar above. Or click HERE.

He means to replace the 12 volt auto reset breaker. Just follow the heavy red wire from the hydraulic pump. When you trace it to the bank of 12 volt breakers that will be the breaker to replace.
They are under 10 bucks.

Water has a way of coming in at one spot and showing up somewhere else.
I wouldn't focus on the immediate area but would caulk the entire trailer.
What year is your rig?

Looks like your shower needs an adjustment.
If you check out the Tools section above you will be able to find the instructions. Or click HERE.
You could take the wiper seal from the top of the door and install on the bottom. The seals slide into a groove.

Either size battery will work but you will have fewer amp hours available with the group 24.
Me? I'd opt for the largest size that will fit.

Congratulations to my friend Jim for his years of commitment in making the club and this forum the valuable resource that it is today.
Everything that he has done for Heartland owners and Heartland RVs has been truly remarkable.

The covers are not model specific but are type and size manufactured. Like a travel trailer or fifth wheel and length range.
I haven't read about too many successful coverings. They tend to rip in the wind or wear the finish on the camper.
As a cheezehead myself I wouldn't bother with a cover...
Call Heartland Parts. The entire LED fixture will need replacing unless you can get creative and find something that will fit replacing the current diodes.
Be aware when you replace the LED's, they are polarity dependant.
If you call Heartland have the last six numbers of your VIN handy.
Peace...
