    Under mount sink question

I've repaired a couple sinks that have dropped down and I believe that a good sealant along with the clamps help hold the sink in place. As much as I hate using silicon caulk it does have it's place. I used clear silicon to hold and seal the sink. Peace Dave

    Lippert jacks

Hello Faves61 and welcome to this great forum. To level side to side you need to put some sort of blocking under the tires on the low side before you unhitch. So when you pull into your site before unhitching check your side to side level. You may have to pull your trailer up on some 2x8 or...

    Lukewarm 'Hot' water ??

I wouldn't rely on ohming the heater element. About six years ago I had the same issue and when I checked the resistance it was good. I checked all electrical circuits involved and all was good. Scratched my head and went to the store for a new heater element. That replacement element has been...

2016 Mallard M31 water heater trouble

Hello Scott. And welcome to this awesome forum. There should be three valves at your water heater. The center valve should be off and the other two on. Be sure that the faucets in the shower are off and if there is an outside shower be sure those faucets are off as well. Peace Dave

    Question

Michael, I used an extra long needle nose that allowed me to reach the bend in the pipe which is where the brush stopped. First time I grabbed it it slipped out of my pliers and went a little deeper. Squeeze the pliers tight. Oh, that pliers also has a 90° bend at the tip. Peace Dave

    Battery replacement

If you can't get sink covers from Heartland there is another option that you might consider. Sams Club, and maybe Walmart, sells a large cutting board that is just about the right thickness (½") to fab a sink cover. I haven't tried that but it's something to check into. I also think that would...

2012 Big Horn M-3585 RL, 12 volt to kitchen slide is dead.

Like Dan said inspect the wire bundle closely. Where the wires enter the slide on that model is bad pinch point and wires may have been damaged. Look closely. You mentioned that the feed wire is white with orange. Stick a pin through that wire to verify if you have 12 volts to ground before it...

Where do I find the ground

I think you need to check the neutral wires which are typically white. Check the connections at your battery, make sure they are tight. Follow the - terminal to a Buss bar and check the connections there. Check all connections that you can find. There are several throughout that are spliced...

    Scratches underside of slideout

It looks like there is or was something under the slide. Since the marks are outside of the roller I don't think the roller is the problem. Have you looked closely under the slide from both the inside and outside? It's that a bedroom slide? The marks are only toward the cabin end so it's...

2017 Cyclone 4114 broken axle mounts

Jim, I've had 2" square tube welded between my spring hangers. This was done per Lipperts recommendation so I doubt that welding the extra structure would void your warranty. In fact they offered to do it for me. I would call Lippert and check with them. Peace Dave

    Replacement breakers

Ebay has a bunch of different forms of a 12 volt 50 amp breakers. If your slides and level system both stop then i would replace only the 50 amp breaker. It's pretty common that these need replacing. And if you find one without mounting tabs they will most likely be okay as they will be held in...
