depends on how heavy the load majority of 4 wheel drives will have 3.43 or there abouts. Less fuel mileage but more towing capacity. Lot to do with where you will be towing , mountains , hilly go with higher gearing(3.73 4.10 are common). Flatland towing you can go with lower ratio. I have a...
I'm surprised that this type of connection is even allowed by some code? Going to keep close eye on those outlets with higher amp draw ex: toaster, coffee maker.
just purchased Hercules 901 ST 14 ply for our toyhauler, Look at the date code on each tire to see how old they are, three of our tires were 16 months older than the 4th tire.
those tires are commonly refered to as China bombs as they do blowout. Goodyear Endurance and Saliun are both good tires as replacements. I couldn't find either of them and went with Hercules ST901 235/85/R16 14ply. Might be overkill on a 17k toyhauler time will tell as only had them mounted 6-8...
my bet would be the hot water heater, try leaving it off; if the control panel & water pump work then you'll kow it's the heater. If it blows prior to turning in the water heater then you know it's the pump or panel process if elimination.
the drawing looks correct but that's not what you are describing. i have dual grey & black tanks. One black tank had it's own dump connection. The other black & both grey tanks connect to a second dump connection. I can empty each one anytime without having to empty any other tank. Good luck
I would call Heartland customer service explain the details and with your pictures see what they say. Have the last six numbers of your VIN handy when you call. Nothing to loose except a phone call. Good luck
those non-contact testers will show you have power BUT it may not be 110vac. They will show voltage as low as 25vac, use a volt meter to test the voltage at the ac and at the breaker for ac. Been there done that as the saying goes!!
the specs for that model list two 40 gallon grey tanks, the washer drain should go into one of them. I have a Torque 5th wheel with washer drain in the garage & the washer drains into the rear grey tank. Call Heartland customer service, have last six #'s your VIN handy & ask them.

UPDATE everyone, after checking both ends & replugging them in a few times and nothing I decided to give the the upper end a tug & low and behold it was cut innto. Some critter must have chewed it into , checked all other wiring with mirror & flashlight no other damage seen. Was able to splice...
Anyone have the digital screen just stay black? Unit is allowing power to pass though hooked to a 20amp GFIC outlet at home. Microwave & 110vac outlets working in & outside of basement.
Thanks
I'd call Heartland warranty claim department & explain everything to them & go from there. Take pictures of the damage & have last six numbers of your VIN handy, they will ask for that.
My 2015 3500HD Duramax does that from time to time with or without a trailer connected. OF late I clean out the trailer connection in the bumper. This connection has the 4way flat on the bottom dirt etc gets in there causing the message. Later model trucks have the 4-way on top & no problems...
