Im not trying ti hijack this thread but I'm curious as to the difference between the SAT and CABLE jacks? My sundance has two jacks outside in the UDC and only one at each tv location, i guess i cant understand why u would need a separate SAT connection. Is it only for HDTV?
You didn't state which 30a breaker is tripping, just keep in mind the breaker at the pedestal gets cycled on/off repeatedly so over time they will get weak.
Me any my wife started out straight away with a fifth wheel and i dont regret it one bit. It will take some practice maneuvering it around if you've never towed/backed one before but it will be second nature after ahwile. I have a sundance XLT model and am very happy with its quality and it fits...
I have found that most state and federal parks in PA cut the end off the wash hose at the dump stations so you can't hook up to the blackwater tank flush fitting. I have a barbed adapter in my 5th wheel just for that reason. If i know I'm not gonna be ale to flush with that fitting i will put as...
I would guess that during the swap maybe some dirt or a stone got into your pad, is it only one side front or rear? Just swapping out wheels shouldn't have any effect whatsoever on you're brakes. I know it sounds stupid but are you sure the new wheels aren't rubbing on the calipers or upper...
I worked as an electrician and electronics repair technician for motorola for some years and have seen loose nuetral and ground connections cause various oddball symptoms, stray voltage is one of them. You should check your shore power connections at the inverter and at the shore power...
We purchased an extended warranty with ours, haven't used it yet hope we never will actually but its there in case. I typically wouldn't buy it but the credit union we finaced through required it. I guess they are trying to protect " their" collateral. You will hear mixed reviews on them, some...
I guess I've never heard of doing the PDI before you're actually there to take delivery. The salesperson at the dealership we purchased from had a form and anything that you wanted corrected or added to the sale was recorded on that and sighned by both parties. I guess you might consider that a...
You're PDI is typically done after you've made a deal and have completed the sale.. Thats when they will go over everything. My dealer even insisted on some driving and backing practice before i left. Price negotiations will be when you'll wanna ask about hitches and anything else you want...
I did the same thing as your talking last year, moved from a tt to a 5er. Granted mine is alot smaller than the one you're looking into but same principals apply. I can tell you theres no comparison between the two when it comes to hitching up and towing down the road, fifth wheel wins hands...
Thanks for the reply, although i havent weighed mine yet im guessing it's just under that 10k pound mark also. I planned on replacing the wheels and tires next year anyways not because there are problems only because i want black wheels. I am just gathering by the blowmax posts I've read that...
Replaced my dometic unit shortly after purchasing. All was covered under warranty. Same issue as OP. Havent tried it since i took it out of storage, hoping it works again.
My 2014 Sundance XLT came with the towmax tire in 225/75r15.. Ive since read all the "blowmax" storys out there, my question is was there only problems with the bigger sizes and heavier trailers or our mine a timebomb also... I havent read much about the smaller lightweight trailers with...
They are LED cut to length strip lights from HITlights.com. They have double back tape on them, i stuck them to the wall just behind the slide mouldings, soldered then fastened 14gauge two conductor cable down the wall through the floor and back up into the basement area.. Fished the wall up...
it looks like it would touch it but it actually does not, i had to notch the door moulding on the top bracket to get it over as far as possible. I didnt on the bottom bracket, thats why its mounted slightly ascew from one another
First pic shows original location of awning switch, right above propane alarm, what kinda moron would think "yea thats a good spot". Lol
Some quick pics of switches
Finally got around to changing out all the cheesy DC rocker switches that came stock on my sundance with nice AC decora residential switches. Hardest part was trimming the paneling to fit the switches in the walls. I also moved the living room light switch out of the cabinet and onto the wall...
Just kidding, i moved this for a good family friend who uses it at private property he owns... It felt like i was hauling a brick compared to my XLT... Lol
Does anyone know if the stromberg carlson lend a hand and the mini lend a hand use the same mounting brackets. I know the fullsize one wont fit because of my awning but i was wondering if the smaller "mini" uses smaller brackets. Thanks
I'm sure if you tell the dealer you're not buying the coach they will sing a differant tune.. When we purchased our sundance there was one major sticking point with ours, the front nosecap decal was clearly faded and looked terrible, salesman said when we signed the commitment they'd have it...
