It's a cable slide. I opened it up and found a couple problems that I resolved. The frame bracket on the inside cables had slide way over to the outer most location causing the cable to hit the frame, very ugly. I installed a couple of bolts taking up the space moving the cable back to the...
The last two times I brought the slide in the sound of the motor changed. New sounds catch my attention. When the slide first starts coming in it sounds normal but as it gets closer to the end the motor sounds like it's laboring. Getting ready to use it a bunch in October and don't want a...
Found frig. not cooling, ice melting in freezer. The amber light was on, no fault code or red light. I turned the unit off and then back on and it fired up. I hooked up to AC power and the green light came on and it started cooling on AC. I unplugged the power and it wouldn't fire up on L.P. I...
I have the N611v Norcold. There is a hack on the single button units that I stumbled onto via Youtube. If you hold the button down until the light changes from yellow to green then release as soon as it changes it returns to AC. You can do the same thing to force the unit to go to LP even when...
My rear lower cable has about a 1 sag in it. The manual talks about removing a cover and adjusting the tension. The only cover I can see is the trim that has no apparent way to remove inside the unit. I can feel the cables behind this trim but again I see no attachments holding the trim on.
Didn't check the bathroom plug. Reset the GF and it's working now.
Thanks so much for the assistance, you saved me a lot of work and frustration.
Be safe out there and happy camping.

It has a sticker on it that says it's protected, it's next to the kitchen sink. It's the only plug not working, no breakers tripped or fuses showing blown.

I have a GF kitchen plug that seems to have failed. The plug cover has no screw in it to remove it. Before I bust it thought Id ask if there is a trick or just pry it off?
Odd that there is no reset on this plug.
Thanks
Al
Thanks, I'll give it another try. My unit is a 2014 bought it used, I've had it going on third year. I don't believe this has ever been opened.
Have a safe and healthy day.

I just found out about the outdoor vent door. Mine is black and has two push tabs on the bottom. I've pressed very hard and pushed out and up on the tabs but it will not open. Any ideas?
Thanks
When I open and close the front awning it sticks a little. I tried using lubricant on the channels and roller wheels but nothing seems to work. Am I missing something?
Thanks

I get an intermittent burp of the water pump. I realize it's loosing pressure but I can't find any leaks anyplace. At times it happens every 10-15 min. and other times almost not at all. Could it be the check valve in my water pump?
Thanks
Al
I put on a new tank and opened the valve slowly and switched to that tank and it seems to be working. Can I just close the valve on the other tank and reopen slowly?
I'm feeling much better the temp was getting low and my water lines would be in danger without heat.
Thanks
Al
The temp has dropped off it's now 24 deg. Furnace is working but when I tried to run the stove the flame was very small. I switch tanks but same result. I;m sure the new tank is full.
Any suggestions?

Re: ATF: North Trail - Charging Battery
Thanks for the help, problem solved, it was a floating neutral on the generator. The fix was jumping the neutral to ground (silver screw to green screw) in a plug (bonding the neutral) and putting it into one of the 120v 20 amp sockets. This allows me to...
Re: ATF: North Trail - Charging Battery
Thanks I knew it had to be something like this. I tried grounding the generator with a rod driven into the ground but that didn't change anything. I'm going to run this past WEN generator engineer or at least let him know what the fix is for future...
Re: ATF: North Trail - Charging Battery
The house fuse box is 20 amp but reads only 4 amp while not on load, the generator is a 30 amp generator and again only show 4 amps when not on load. the generator has 3100 watts
ATF: North Trail - Charging Battery
I have a strange situation with my distribution center and charging my battery. When on shore power, (plugged into my home socket) I notice that the fan on the distribution center comes on and my level indicator goes to fully charged. After some time when I...
Re: ATF: North Trail - Charging Battery
Have an issue with my, WFCO distribution center
When on shore power 30 or 20 amp service my WFCO works fine, my level shows full charge and it charges the battery. When I connect to my 3100 wat WIN generator the fan on the WFCO does not run and the level...
I've gone all over the underbelly of my unit sealing up the cracks and possible entrance points for rodents. A friend told me that he had mice enter his unit via the AC roof unit, is that possible? I assume the unit is a closed system, should I be looking there for possible entrance points?
Re: ATF: North Trail - Levels Status display
The trailer has a 30 amp service cable with plug. I have an adopt. that goes to 20 amp that hooks to my 30 amp trailer cable.
Why would the 30 amp cable change wit the 20 amp adpt.
Re: ATF: North Trail - Levels Status display
I’ll skip the 30 amp plug on the generator and try the 20 amp plug. If I’m understanding you the problem is with the generator as all cables / plugs are the same but give different results.
Re: ATF: North Trail - Levels Status display
I guess I’m confused. If shore power from a 20 amp circuit gives proper results why wouldn’t my 30amp from the generator do the same?
I have noticed that when I'm plugged into shore power my Batt level shows full regardless of the actual battery level, It also shows full when I'm hooked up to my vehicle. But when I'm hooked up to my generator its showing what level the battery is at. My generator is powering my frig. and air...
I'm plugged into shore power and batt is fully Charged. Since I’m getting power on the one pin and the light on the jack works, I would say the fuse is good.
Since it just stopped in mid jacking and fuse is good and switch does not work in either direction I'm leaning toward motor problem. One...
Started lifting the trailer off the truck and the jack stopped working. Checked the fuse coming from the batt. looked good. Connected direct to the batt no difference.
Pulled the switch cover, have 12 volts to #2 only.
Any advice on trouble shooting. I see there is a circuit breaker on the jack...
Thanks for responding, I'm just concerned about being able to pack up to leave in the event I've drained the camper battery system. I'd have my truck running during this process.

Thanks for the reply, I'll check.

I have a couple of questions regarding dry camping power.
When the trailer is plugged into the tow vehicle will the electric hitch jack draw from the tow vehicle battery? I'm thinking it may need to be grounded to the truck.
When the trailer is hitched and plugged into the tow vehicle will the...
Re: ATF: North Trail - Charging Battery
Thanks for the input, I've checked with the mft. and the unit won't charge the deep cell battery. Looking at a new unit 3,100 with 30 amp service Wen 3100 Inverter generator @ 57 db, any thoughts?
I have a small quiet generator that provides 800 watts at full load. When attempting to charge the battery with everything turned off it shuts down on overload. What is the draw with all systems off except the charger?
