    Stop the Rocking

No need. Once you tighten them down some, they push into the tire a little and do not move.

    Stop the Rocking

Yes, you do still need to use your stabilizer jacks. However, even using the jacks, most of the weight is still supported by the wheels. Stabilizer jacks are not intended to support the weight of your trailer. When walking inside there can still be a lot of "rocking" from the slight movement of...

    Stop the Rocking

The cross piece is 16 inches cut on a 20 degree angle. Two 4 inch pieces are welded to the angle. All made from 14 gauge 1 inch steel tubing. The threaded rod is a 7/16 rod about 15 inches long

    Stop the Rocking

Our Wilderness, like other lightweight TT in the Heartland lineup use the Wide Trac axles, which make for great towing. The downside is when looking at products like Bal X-chock and others between the tire devices, they become costly. I have seen those made from 4x4 blocks, and they work, but...

    Travel Blog

This year I began writing a travel blog when we camp. It started out as a way to keep family and friends up to date on where we were or what we were doing. Now, everyone wants to know when we are leaving again because they like reading the blogs. (either that or they are trying to get rid of us...

    Changed my Shower

One of the things I really disliked was the cheap *** shower curtain that came in our Wilderness 2750RL. I remover the shower curtain and bar and installed a pleated shower door. The install is easy. You do have to make two cuts on the rails. The instructions guide you thru it with no problems...

Yeah, I have been all over Google but have not been able to come up with anything. Do you remember the company name by chance??

    Awning Question

My TT has a Carefree TravelR awning. It is the flat pitch type. I would like to convert it to the adjustable pitch type. Does anyone know if you can just replace the arms only? If so, where do I find replacement parts. I have emailed Carefree but they do not appear very diligent in responding to...

I know you will enjoy yours as much as we do. Sounds like they have made some improvements to make a great TT even better.

    To Heartland Designers

If you read this, let me first say that I love my 2750RL Wilderness! With very few exceptions, there is little that I would want to see changed. Those I would like to see are mostly inconveniences. Things like: 1) Move the tank monitor panel from the bathroom and place over the A/C thermostat...

    A/C Settings, High or Auto?

I guess all dealers are not the same. Mine said it didn't matter if I ran it on auto or continuous, but I should run it on high to keep it from icing up.

    A BIG Thank You to...

Guys, I want to give a shout out to Heartland RV and especially Mike Rogers. We purchased our current TT in February and have had zero issues with it. We left Monday morning for a trip to Florida. I pulled into a rest stop and heard a noise. While investigating, I discovered a spring hanging...

    Tub vs Shower

I realize a lot has to do with saving space as much as possible, but why are so many bathrooms designed with a tub? Personally, I find them to be almost useless and find myself using the bathhouse simply to avoid having to negotiate the cramped tub, and I am not a big guy. I also worry when...

Condensation forming on interior of slide

We had the same problem with ours forming moisture around the head of the bed. I pulled the mattress out and dropped in two short pieces of a 4x4 block. With the curve of the wall, the top of the mattress is about 2 inches away. I do plan to add a de-humidifier before the weather gets cool again.

Wilderness owners - where are you???

We have really enjoyed our 2750RL! Since February we have made 4 trips with it and not a single issue. We are leaving Monday for a week in St. Augustine Fl. and then on to several other destinations.

    Rear Mount Roof Ladder

My TT did not come with one. How difficult is it to add one? Can they be anchored in and not have to worry about them coming loose or not supporting someone climbing on it

Thinking about moving - need some NJ people's suggestions pls about RV parking town ordiances

I dont think it is so much the towns you have to worry about. I would check homeowner associations BEFORE you buy/rent. The little Hitler types that run some of the associations love to exercise the only authority they have ever had in life.

    Screen Door protector

I have seen here and other places where people have added something to protect their screen door from pets. Here is how I chose to do it: When looking at my door, I noticed there was a lip across the bottom and the top. This lip is about 1/2 wide. I also noticed there was a channel that ran...

Thats why it is called a "hidden" safe. I would not be hidden if you knew where it was.

    Weight Difference

I would think dry means without but is it possible they are calculating in the weight of your tanks? A simple way to find out would be to add the total gallons of each and multiply by 8.6 for the total water weight and subtract from the gross weight.

Forum posts order (oldest vs newest)

I realize I am new here, but I have noticed the way this forum is set up, you have to go to the very end to read what the original post question was. Most other forums I belong to, the post are list in order recieved from top to bottom. Is there a way I can change this on my end, or is that the...

    Dump Stations

I have noticed that in some states, some of the rest areas on the interstate will have dump stations. Is there some place where you can find a list of rest stops that have them? Also any truck stops or other places (other than rv parks) that might have them?

    New to Heartland

Hey guys, new here and to Heartland products. We did some camping way back but the bug was biting us again to hit the road. We will be taking delivery of our Wilderness 2750RL at the first of the week.
