I used cat additive and works great.i tried other two brands talked about on earlier threads and didn't work.I drained two quarts out and added one quart at a time after cycling first on each quart.

Check wiring also (rg6 satellite wiring) that goes from slide through frame because there is a barrel connections there also on both slides and all wall plates everywhere and check for pinched wires underneath slides going up through floor.fyi

I have had luck on my slides since I fixed it.i wonder if they did that fix I sent u on those emails I sent u from don at heartland sent me.those wear strips in those square tubes need adjusted .the quick fix is shim those wear strip buttons with metal washers and that will put more pressure on...

I was getting the rooms running uneven on one end from the other sliding out or in.I was hearing popping and griding noises when moving slides in and out.i call HL service department and they sent me link on how to fix jumping gears situation on tubes.there was a link on lipperts site to fix it...

Congrats jim on new unit .we really love ours .i had a few issues with off door slide and don in service at HL walked me through on the fix .it was slipping gear teeth on tubes for the 3 rd time at hope we have it fixed now.lippert had fix for it on there web site .I added a lot of the same...

Dan my ashland is doing the popping and cracking noise again on my ashland .i wonder if I need more adjustment up or down .the gear is broke again for the third time.is there more adjustment in the rollers also or just the slide room only on the slide tubes.my gap on one end is 1" and other end...

Fixed gear on slide and ran it couple times .i think it still needs more adjusting .i here and see room not running square again and putting pressure on new gear pack .i have appointment at heartland dealer Monday to check out .how do u guys adjust slides and time gear packs so room slides...

I changed mine to 2" receiver Fred it is a lot heavier design than from HL .fyi
