1/3 of awning LEDs blinking, or out.

Oh, I will definitely be making a few phone calls. That's a good thought about the parts. Self-install would be fine (I think, and maybe others will chyme in on the complexity). Thanks.

1/3 of awning LEDs blinking, or out.

I'm a month out of my warranty, and the LED lights on my awning are starting to go out. At least 1/3 of them. Some of them blink briefly before they go out. These haven't been on for more than 50 hours or so. One or two of them went out a few months ago, but this last trip is when about 1/3...

Tow vehicle / Tire questions and issues...

May not be the right forum for this, but we'll see. Sorry in advance for the long post, but I need some help. :) I've got a 2015 Ram Rebel 1500 towing a Heartland North Trail 24BHS (5,600lbs). My truck seems to have developed a problem with tracking straight. Its not as noticeable empty, but...

    Relocation of tank/battery monitor panel

Doubt it, as the bottom is pretty well sealed up with insulation. Sounds like it's just wires, which is good. So, I'll probably just pull the panel off and see if I can fish the wires somewhere else.

    Relocation of tank/battery monitor panel

Yes, that's my floor plan. It's in the bathroom and I'd like to move it up closer to the door, where I don't have to move things around or extend the slide out to get to it. When packed and closed, it's difficult to access. It is accurate, all though I got myself in trouble once thinking it...

    Relocation of tank/battery monitor panel

Anyone relocated their tank/battery monitor panel? In my 2016 Heartland North Trail 24BHS it's in the bathroom, and I've found this to be rather inconvenient since I have to extend the slide-out to get to it, in addition to stepping over all the gear when packed. I wish it was right inside the...

Suggestions to help stabilize my RV!

I do put the blocks under the jacks, and it does help. I'd also read about some of those gadgets. Nice to know they do actually work. Thanks, for the info so far.

Suggestions to help stabilize my RV!

Thanks. I was looking at those. Is one enough, or do you need one on each set of wheels?

Suggestions to help stabilize my RV!

Love our Heartland North Trail 24bhs, but it's quite wobbly at times. A kid walking to the bathroom at night is enough to wake everyone up sometimes. So, I'm looking for some tips on how to get this thing to sit a little more solid at the campsite. The stabilizer jacks are firm as far as I...

FOUND: Where is the water pump (NT 24BHS)?

Under the couch, where? I've lifted the seats / plywood off, and there's nothing under there. Is there a panel under/under the couch? - - - Updated - - - You mean that panel with the air duct on it?

Where's my water heater bypass valve?

Thanks. I've posted over on that thread now. I've been under the couch, and apparently I'm missing something because I didn't see it.

Where's my water heater bypass valve?

I've looked all over this thing, inside the compartments, under the beds, etc. Where is my water heater bypass so I can winterize this thing? It's a 2015 North Trail 24BHS. You'd think it'd be easy to find, right? But the owners manual isn't much help. We breezed over it in the...

Hitch and unhitching tips, on a slight slope.

Getting the WD stuff off is no problem. This is just the hitch coming off the ball. On level surfaces it gives me a little trouble sometimes, but the storage lot gives me a lot of trouble because of the slope (I'm guessing). I've got the wheels chocked, and usually take the parking break off...

Hitch and unhitching tips, on a slight slope.

I'm having a heck of a time unhitching my rig when I drop it off in storage, and I'm thinking it's because the spot slops down towards the back. It's a battle to get the hitch to come off the ball most of the time. I need some tips. I've tried removing the pin from the hitch thinking it'd...

North Trail 24BHS which pull for which tank?

Re: 240BHS which pull for which tank? The right pull is definitely the black tank! After an hour or so, I got a clog cleared up. Apparently someone didn't listen close enough to my instructions on toilet usage in a camper earlier in the season! But for reference, you absolutely cannot see...

North Trail 24BHS which pull for which tank?

Insulated underbelly :). If I'm still unsure after this trip, I'll get the clear hose or start tearing things apart! Thanks.

North Trail 24BHS which pull for which tank?

Thanks. I can certainly figure it out, but doing so at the dump station on the way out isn't ideal (last few trips have been without sewer, and so will the next one). But, with you and Heartland concurring, I'll go with that. It was opposite on our old Jayco, which messed me up the first time...

North Trail 24BHS which pull for which tank?

Finally back to this, and just called Heartland... and they seemed not too confident in their answers. My stickers are labeled this, from left to right: WASTE WATER HOLDING TANK, GREY TANK #1, SEWER OUTLET CONNECTION. This is obviously not right because I only have a waste and grey tank, and...

    2015 240bhs water heater draining

Thanks, maybe I'm good. Just seems like every time I think it's drained, there's more to drain.

North Trail 24BHS which pull for which tank?

Re: 240BHS which pull for which tank? There are stickers, but they don't make any sense. The one labeling the obvious place to connect the hose is out of order, and one of the 3 doesn't have anything to do with waste. You'd think I'd know which is which by now, right? Lol. I won't...

    2015 240bhs water heater draining

It's a 2015 Heartland North Trail 240BHS. Thanks. I've got 5 low point drains coming out the bottom of this rig. 2 in the rear (blue and red) and 3 in front of the axle (2 blue, 1 red). I'm assuming those just drain the water lines, but when I removed the plastic plug and opened the release...

    2015 240bhs water heater draining

On my old Jayco, I had to manually screw off the valve on the water heater to let it drain. But on this one (Heartland North Trail 24BHS), I've got 2 hot water low point drain valves coming out of the underside of the camper. Are those sufficient to drain the water heater, or do I still need...

North Trail 24BHS which pull for which tank?

My users manual is horrible on my new 2015 240BHS, and the stickers for the tank release levers aren't in the right place (the don't make sense). Plus, I've got the insulated underbelly, so I can't see where it's coming from. So... I think my black tank release is on the left, and the grey on...
