Thank you for that information, I shall followup on it.

Can you provide me with more information? I did not know that there are metal framing supports within the back wall. How were the supports accessed ie was the back wall removed or were the welds accessed from...
....
The picture is the right rear back of my 2009 Sundance 2900MK and as you can see, the base of the back wall has vertically separated from the side wall for a distance of a foot or so.
Any ideas about:
1. What might have caused this separation
2. What is the likely fix for this problem...
I do the following:
1. I follow the same procedure as I do for putting RV antifreeze into the system ie. close the valve which allows water to be drawn from the on board water storage tank and open the valve which allows anti freeze to be drawn through a bypass hose from the antifreeze...
I have used a Swagman bicycle rack on my Sundance for a number of years now with no problems. Swagman sells a receiver hitch which is bolted to your bumper for attaching the rack to your RV.
If I attach a shutoff valve on the main waste water outlet and then open both grey water tank valves, will the water levels in both grey water tanks become equal?
I am interested in doing this when dry camping to create more waste water storage capacity for taking showers. Washing dishes in a...
Why do the replacement caulks not retain their color for as long as the caulking that comes from the manufacturer with the RV? Maybe I have been using the wrong one.
After 6 years of usage, approximately 2-3 months annually, the hot water tank in our Sundance developed a pin hole corrosion leak on the bottom of the tank.
I am disappointed with the short life span.
The anode rod was replaced whenever necessary.
I simply connect the hose which you normally use to winterize your unit with antifreeze to my water container and then connect the external shower hose to the water tank inlet.
Turn on the external shower and the water pump fills my water tank.
Works like a charm!
I simply use the hose which is used to winterize the system with antifreeze to suck up water from my 7 gallon container and then connect the external shower hose to the water tank inlet.
You asked about how to deal with a difference in length when lowering the landing gear. I initially dealt with this problem by going to Home Depot and purchasing door shims. They usually come in a package and you can use one two or whatever to place under the landing pad that has not yet reached...
The need for slide toppers is a function of where you set up camp. I have been camping for 12 years now without slide toppers in British Columbia, the Pacific northwestern states and the south western states. In all of that time I have only felt the need to get on the roof three times to clean...
Four fuses and several hours later I have the fans working. The instructions were for a red/black wire while my fans came with a white/black wire and using the black wire as a ground was blowing fuses.
Thanks for your reply. I talked to Heartland which has them in stock and is prepared to sell one to me for approximately $5.00. The frustration though is that Heartland does not mail they use UPS and the minimum charge to British Columbia is approximately $35.00. So I am looking for a source...
Does anyone know whether these dustcaps are available from any other source? I regularly go down the west coast from BC to CA & AZ but the only Tredit location in the west is located in Oregon but not on the northsouth I5 interstate route which I take.
Has anyone experienced broken shackles? Both of the bolt holes on the two shackles which attach the shackles to the rear spring on the passenger side of the Sundance became elongated enough to finally give way allowing the spring to flip upwards and rest against the frame. A further examination...
In order to lubricate the Ez Lube axels, I will need to jack up the Sundance 5th wheel while it is in storage. Normally I do not have the 5th wheel hitch in my truck and I am wondering whether I can simply jack up the 5th wheel with the landing gear down or should I install the hitch before...
X2
The second advantage of this system is that when you arrive at your destination and unhook, you can attach the bicycle carrier to the back of your truck for transporting your bikes to local biking trails.
A great system

This is the first storage season that I have used this solar charger and so far it has kept my batteries fully charged inspite of the fact that I live in Vancouver which typically is quite wet and dreary during the winter months, much like...
Actually I was able to locate the source of your failure from your pictures when looking at my hitch and, fortunately my hitch is okay.
But thanks for the headsup to check.
I have had a great experience with this hitch so far.
Has not anyone noticed that the source of much of the advice contained in this article is based on research from Goodyear. If Goodyear is recommending the use of ST over LT why then are people inclined to change to GOODYEAR LT tires. I do not understand this.
Personally, I am using Maxxis ST.
