    Portable Generator Question

We have a 3kva honda, which is on a pull out slide mounted in the front gooseneck locker. If we want to use it more than once we leave it pulled out on the slide. It is electric/pull and remote start. It is bolted on the slide out frame, so makes it pretty hard to pinch. Good choice getting a...

slide-out fascias - thinking of painting them.

I have actually used oil based polyurethane on our slldeout surround with no worries at all, a repair I did when a chunk was taken out of it. If you really want to paint it, I would recommend to sand down with sandpaper or wire wool the surface so the paint adheres to it. Put a coat of smooth...

    Steadyfast - Trailer Stabilization System

We fitted them when we fitted the 6 point leveling kit. they work very well in conjunction with the leveling kit, but yes you have to undu them first when lifting the legs. I have considered getting a sign made to remind me to lift them, I have lifted them a few times without unduing them, not a...

Stabilization with six point level up.

We fitted Steadyfast stabilizing bars when the 6 point level kit was fitted to our rig. They work well. The rig still moves around a bit, but they make a big difference. We would not do without any of what we fitted, just great.

    6 Point Leveling System

We have had 6 point leveling for two years now. What we do if the wheels do come off the ground, is put wood underneath the feet and then let the rig down slightly, so the weight is on that side. Then adjust the other side to make level. This has worked well for us with no problems. Hope this helps.

    moldy caulk? ?

Hi, I was told you have to have a urethane based selant and wear disposible gloves when smoothing the sealant off, or use ice block sticks. I use Simpsons 70-03 adhesive/selant, along with a Simpsons cleaner thinner before applying. I have used this system for over a year and a half now with...

    Eternabond tape

I have used Eternabond on our front, back caps and also on the top of the slides, with the eternabond going up the back of the fascia. Since I have done this, there has not been any signs of any leaks at all. I would recommend doing this from new, as it is perventitive maintenance.
