2009 bighorn 3055 tire change

iv'e read some search results and still haven't came up with a clear answer..will michelin xps ribs in 235/85/16 have enough clearance between the tires? i currently have the 235/80/ 16 unicorns that i believe are 30.7 diameter opposed to the 32 of the michelins.anyone done this?

The space between the tires will be 1.2 in. closer together. The 235-85-16 will hold 3042# each at 80 psi. 265-75-16 are the same diameter and will hold 3415# each at 80 psi.

I had a set of Micheline XPS ribs on an '07 Bighorn 3055 and on an 09 Bighorn 3370 and had no clearance problems with either. Great tires that gave good service.

I replaced my 235/80/16 with 235/85/16 on my Big Country when it was almost new. I installed B.F. Goodrich Commercial TA tires. More than satisfied with them I currently have about 10,000 trouble free miles on them. They are about one inch closer together. My X-Chocks work just fine in between them. No clearance problems at all. Just do it!...Don
